~Saturday morning, (Y/n)'s POV~
I heard the birds chirping out of my window, the sun poking through my curtains and leaving little sun spots on my floor.
Truth is, I didn't sleep much last night. The thought of my first date being kind of on the fly like this. And with Hikaru.
I got up from my bed, and decided to wash away my worries, so I went to my bathroom and ran a hot bath, dropped in a bath bomb and some relaxing salts. I rubbed in a mud mask on my face, using my free hand to pull my hair into an extremely messy bun.
It was hard to keep yourself pretty while only one handed, but I was growing used to it. I stepped into the tub, sinking in until the water reached my neck, and my head rested against a nice little neck pillow I had.
Thinking over the last few weeks, life had grown pretty hectic. Connecting with Kaoru, and becoming friends with him and the entire host club. Haruhi being a girl, and me being kidnapped. Dad coming home and my new family. It all seemed to happen so fast.
I was happier, but there was still some darkness that clouded my mind. Like my mother, how I always tried to fight for her love, but she always pushed me away.
How now at school most the girls didn't seem to like me due to my friendships with the hosts, but I wasn't going to stoop to their level and fall at their feet for attention.
I was pulled from my thoughts when I heard my phone ringing. Luckily I had set it near the ground by my good arm, so I reached over and answered, not checking the caller ID.
"Hello?"
"Hey (Y/n). I'm gonna be there at noon, okay? I'm gonna take you out for lunch then I have a surprise for you." It was Hikaru.
"Sure thing. I'll see you then." I hung up, checking the time. It was only about 7:30, so I had plenty of time.
I finished up my bath, and stood up, wrapping a towel around me and walking to the sink, washing off my face mask and began to apply makeup. (If you don't wear any that's fine!)
I normally don't wear some, but I put on some light foundation and blush, along with some eye shadows and some winged eyeliner. It looked pretty good for a girl with one arm.

Finally I went over to my closet, and pulled out the outfit I wanted. "Sammy! I need help getting dressed!" I called out to my maid, who rushed in. She grabbed the dress, carefully helping me into it. It was a thick laced white dress that ombre'd to (f/c) down at the bottom.  She clipped the brown belt just under my chest, and then helped me pull on the dark blue jean jacket. I smiled at the outfit as I twirled slightly, causing my maid to laugh.
"You look beautiful, shall I help you with your hair?"
"Please." I smiled, sitting down in front of my vanity mirror.
She first brushed through it and dried it, though my hair was a wild animal when dried so she then ran a straightener through it. Afterwards she grabbed the curler, making large curls in my hair then brushing through them, giving them a beach wave effect. I smiled at the result, pulling on my white converses and giving the maid a side hug.
"Thanks for the help, I appreciate it Sammy."
"Oh my what a sweetheart you are." She cooed, as I grabbed my phone, putting it into one of my jacket pockets then going downstairs.
The clock I passed read about 9:50, so I still had some time, maybe I'll play with (B/n) for a bit.

I was in the middle of watching my brother play a video game, when I felt the empty spot on the couch sink down beside me. I looked over and saw Hikaru sitting there, staring at me.
"Whoa, you look, uh..." his face turned red as he then turned away, not wanting to finish his sentence.
I smiled at his own attire. He wore a casual tee, with some dress pants and shoes. Not too flashy, not to dressed down either. He looked handsome.
"Are you dating my sister?" Both of our faces flushed as we both stuttered. "N-no! We're just friends!" He clenched his fists, looking away as his face grew redder. My brother rolled his eyes, going back to his game.
I cleared my throat, saying a goodbye and leading Hikaru outside, where he had a limo waiting for us.
"Hey, uh (Y/n)?" I heard him say kind of shyly, making me turn my attention to him.
"Mhm?"
"Here." He seemed upset with his own shyness, and held out a single orange rose. I smiled at the gesture, taking the flower and smelling it, but this seemed to cause the boys face to go redder.
"Hikaru, why'd you ask me on a date?"
"Eh?" I seemed to have thrown him off, to which I just smiled and shook my head, walking to the limo. He opened the door for me, letting me slide in first, him afterwards.
"How about some lunch? Then I'll take you to your surprise."
"Sounds good." As if answering for me, my stomach growled. I had skipped breakfast so that I could enjoy the meal more, but maybe I should have ate a little something.
Hikaru laughed, sending me a cheeky smile.

We pulled up to some restaurant in the next town over. It had a kind of Italian feel to it, and I definitely couldn't pronounce the name. Hikaru helped me out of the limo, and led me inside, where a waitress smiled to us.
"Good evening, do you have a reservation?"
"We do, it's under Hitachiin."
"Oh! We have s table for you over here..." the woman began to grow confused, staring at Hikaru. "Can you take her to the table, I'm gonna head to the restroom."
"Sure thing..." she said, leading me towards the back of the restaurant. "I'll bring some menus." She bowed, then left. Why did she seem so confused?
I heard the chair across from me pull out, and i looked up and saw Hika-wait. That's Kaoru. Were they trying the trick me? He wore the same outfit, and even styled his hair to the other side. But this was definitely Kaoru.
"H-hey sorry that took a second." He smiled. I raised my brow, and went to talk, but the waitress interrupted with the menus.
"I'll be back shortly for your orders."
"So uh, I never got to tell you but you look amazing, (Y/n)." He grinned.
Alright, two can play at this game.
"Thanks Hikaru, I really wanted to look nice for you. I spent hours decided what I'd look best in." I Bit my lip, forming a blush on my face and glancing up at Kaoru, who gulped.
"O-oh?"
"I stayed up all night because of how anxious I was. You have no idea how excited I was when you asked me out on a date Hikaru."
I saw beads of sweat form on his forehead as he pulled on his collar slightly.
I opened my menu. Browsing through all the food, I decided a nice ravioli plate would be good.
And some dessert.
A chocolate lava cake.
That I'll smash into the stupid gingers fa-
"Ready to order?" The waitress smiled. I told her my order, as did Kaoru. She had brought us our drinks a while ago, he must of ordered for me. Hanging out for a while he learned my favorite drink was (f/d), so he got me that. How sweet.
"(Y/n)?"
"Hm?"
"You uh, look like you're about to murder that drink. And not in a good way."
I blinked a few times, but then laughed, using my free arm to reach over and grab ahold of his hand. "Oh Hikaru, so funny."
I did notice something, every time I said Hikaru, his eye would twitch just slightly.
"Say, Hikaru, What do you think Kaoru thinks we're doing?"
"O-oh, I don't know." He gulped again, averting his eyes. His face was beet red from where I was holding his hand, and he seemed to try and not focus on that.
"Maybe he thinks we're holding hands and walking through a nice quiet empty park, where we take the opportunity to kiss."
His eyes widened as he looked at me, his face now a complete tomato.
"I-I-i..." he stuttered, pulling his hand out from under mine.
"H-he knows we wouldn't do that. W-who kisses a girl on a first date?" He nervously laughed.
"Even if I really wanted it?" I gave a fake pout, sending the boy into an eruption. It was kind of funny how easy it was to set him off.
But then he muttered something under his breath, but I couldn't hear. I leaned forward slightly, but stopped as I smelled our food, which was then set down in front of us.

"Can I get my dessert to go? I really wanna save it for later." I asked the waitress who pleasant obliged, putting my cake into a Togo bag. Perfect.
We left the restaurant, and Kaoru led me to a near by park, ironic. We sat at a bench, and he took a deep breath.
"The food was great, huh?" He refused to look at me. Maybe he was upset that he thought I didn't know he was him.
"Hey, Hikaru?"
"Hm..?" He sighed, looking over. I pulled the cake out of the bag, gave him a smirk, and smooshed it into his face. He gasped, standing up and wiping it off as best he could.
"What the hell, (Y/n)?!"
"How stupid do you think I am, Kaoru?" I glared, looking down to my lap.
"Why did you and Hikaru switch places?"
His eyes were wide as he stared at me. "You knew all along?"
"I told already. I've always been there. I've always known the difference. Was this date like a test or something? To see if I really knew?" I grabbed some napkins out of the Togo bag, and stood up, helping him wipe the cake from his face.
"It wasn't that."
"Then why?"
He stood there stiffly, letting me whip off his face as he thought of an answer. I raised my brow to him, until he sighed.
"Hikaru knew I didn't want you guys to go on this date."
"Why, though? We're just friends, Kaoru. Is it because you don't want your brother to lea-"
"No! That's not..ugh!" He grabbed my shoulders, and pulled me towards him.
"Kaoru what are yo-!" My words we're stopped as his lips landed on mine roughly. He had his eyes clenched shut, as his grip on my shoulders tightened.
I was frozen.
This was my first kiss.
He pulled away, a sad look on his face. "I-I'm sorry." He ran off, to who knows where.
And I was just standing there in shock.
My first kiss.
And it tasted like chocolate.
