~(Y/n)'s POV)~
Kaoru and I had been packing for a few hours now, him doing most the work being as I only had one usable arm.
We both laid on my bed, huffing a bit. I turned my head to look at him, to my surprise he was already staring at me.
"This is hard work."
"I don't see why you don't ask the maids for help."
"Ew, I don't want their hands on my belongings." We laughed, and I sat back up when someone busted into my door.
"(Y/n)!" It was Tamaki, who was followed into my room by the rest of the hosts, even Haruhi.
"Hey guys, what brings you here?"
"I told them to come." Kaoru pulled out his phone, smiling to me. I returned the smile, then looked back to the hosts.
"Here to help I guess?"
Tamaki nodded, picking up a box. "We couldn't leave you to do all this yourself, especially in your condition."
"Thank you, you guys." I smiled as they all began helping to put things in boxes, and carrying them down to the moving van outside. I was so excited to finally be out from under my mother's roof, out from her uncaring hand.
"So (Y/n)-Chan, does your dad have other kids?" Honey asked, sitting beside me on my bed, but I wasn't sure. He never told me.
"I don't know, but I kind of hope so,
I wonder what having siblings would be like, or if they'll accept me." I looked up at my ceiling, imaging various faces and personalities, but then looked back to see my now almost empty room. It was kind of bittersweet, but I was happy to leave.
My father told me not to worry about bringing my bed, so that was all we left behind in the room by the time we were finished. Tamaki was panting as was Hikaru and Kaoru, causing me to laugh.
"Why do you have so many books?!" The twins asked together, wiping some sweat from their foreheads. I snickered towards them, shrugging. "There's lots of worlds I like to escape to."
"Eh?" They questioned, but were thumped in the heads by Haruhi. "Dunces." She rolled her eyes, walking up to me.
"How's your arm feeling?"
"Well, broken."
She once again rolled her eyes, but frowned. The room grew silent, and the hosts were now seeming a little edgy.
"I don't blame you guys."
"We know, but we could have prevented it." Hikaru stated, leaning against the wall and resting his hands behind his head.
"Maybe if I knew martial arts or something, I could have maybe kept you safe.." Haruhi looked down, but I only patted her head.
"Hey, even so only someone with Mori or Honeys level could have fended all three men off. Please don't be so hard on yourselves. I'm safe now."
"But what if..!" Kaoru's face grew red, as his fists clenched and he lowered his head. He seemed to be finding the right words to say, searching his thoughts thoroughly. "What if they had done something worse? Or..."
I knew what he was thinking, because that was my fear the whole time I was there. That they'd take my innocence from me.
"I know." I mumbled, looking down at my signed cast.
"Let's just be glad it didn't happen, and that all I came out with was a broken arm and burned wrists."
"How are your wrists doing, by the way?" Kyoya inquires, as I lightly smiled. "Healing nice and smoothly, they don't hurt anymore."
This seemed to make the boys cheer up a bit.
Hunter eventually came up, looking around my cluster of friends.
"Everything is ready, will you boys be helping us?"
I looked to them, who nodded. "We can take the limo and follow the u-haul." Kyoya said, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Mind if (Y/n) rides with us?"
"Not at all, go ahead." Hunter bowed, then made his way out. The boys followed him, me being last, I turned to take one last look at the room, frowning slightly.
Definatly bittersweet.
"We should leave a note for your mom for whenever she gets wine drunk and comes in here to angrily talk about you." Kaoru appeared beside me, marker in hand. I grinned, taking the marker and walking to the wall, writing in big letters;
Bye bye, Commoner <3
"(Y/n), wake up."
"Mnnn, five more minutes."
"(Y-y/n)..."
I heard the sound of a camera clicking, and I quickly sat up, rubbing my eyes and seeing Tamaki and Hikaru with their phones out. I looked over to my right, and saw Kaoru, his face completely red.
"You guys didn't."
"Uh oh." Hikaru laughed, hiding his phone in his back pocket, as well as Tamaki.
"D-Delete them!" My face began to flush red as I stuttered, looking to Kaoru again whose face grew even redder.
"You guys should just admit it already-" Hikaru began, but Kaoru and I both shook our heads.
"I DON'T LIKE HER/HIM!"
We looked at each other again, then looked away quickly. Man, this limo felt like it was about 100 degrees.
"Stop with your childish games, Hikaru, delete the photos."
"Fine, Kaoru, if you don't like her, then," the twin turned to me, taking my good hand into his, and giving me a cheeky smile.
"(Y/n), go on a date with me this weekend."
~time skip, at the (L/n) mansion~
I watched the host club leave, waving as they departed. My mind was still swimming with Hikaru's question.
"(Y/n), go on a date with me this weekend."
"W-What?!"
"Please? Think of it as a 'I'm glad you're home safe' thing. My treat."
"I-I guess it wouldn't hurt..."
I looked over and saw Kaoru with wide eyes, that then quickly glared at Hikaru. Why was he so upset? He just said he didn't like me. So why did he look so mad?
Why was I so disappointed he didn't say anything?
So, Hikaru would take me out in 3 days, today being Wednesday. Hopefully he can plan something that's easy and not eventful, with my arm how it is.
"Who are you?" I gasped, turning to see a young boy, probably 6 years younger than me. He was wearing the elementary school uniform, walking down the stairway.
"My name is (Y/n)." I bowed, and looked back at the boy. He had short (h/c), bright (e/c) eyes, and (s/c) skin. Kind of like a little boy version of me.
"Oh, you're my new big sister?" His mood seemed to change, to a more cheery one?
"Oh! You must be (B/n)! Dad told me a little bit about you and your mom."
He smiled, finally walking up to me. "Dad talked a lot about you, I was really excited to finally meet you big sis!" He hugged my legs, making my body fill up with this newfound joy. I wrapped my good arm around his head, and smiled. I was so happy.
"I'm so glad to see you two getting along." Now at the top of the stairway stood my father, and his new wife. She was beautiful, with long brown locks that curled around her face, and shining blue eyes. Her skin was silky, and she wore a floor length, shimmering red dress. I bowed to her, causing her to giggle slightly.
"Dear there's no need, come, let me meet my daughter-in-law."
We met half way, and she grabbed my face with both her hands, observing me.
"Such a beautiful girl, I'm so glad to finally meet you, (F/n) is always speaking of you, and how much he missed you."
"Dad." I laughed, looking to him. There was no way I couldn't believe him, now. His family...no, my new family all warmed up to me so easily, like they already knew me.
And they did, because of my dad.
"My dears, hop into the shower and get ready for a feast! A welcoming dinner for our new daughter, and sister, (Y/n)!"
"I'm going to bed, goodnight dad, goodnight everyone." I waved to the group at the staircase, heading up to my room and plopping down onto my new bed. I had boxes around the room, needing to be unpacked, but I'd worry about it later.
I grabbed my phone, realizing I left it upstairs since this evening, and saw about a dozen texts and a few missed calls.
Kaoru: (Y/n)? Are you really going to go on that date?

Kaoru: okay...are you upset with me now?

Kaoru: I'm calling, I don't see what I did wrong.

5 missed calls from Kaoru
2 Voicemails from Kaoru
I rolled my eyes, clicking his contact and calling. It rang for three rings, and then went to voicemail.
He did NOT just decline my call.
I glared, calling once again, but being sent to voice mail quicker.
Me: I left my phone in my room while meeting my new family, I wasn't mad, but now I am. Goodnight.
Sent at 9:02 pm
I put my phone down, but it immidiatly started ringing. I opened it to see Kaoru's name, to which I politely declined, put my phone on silent, and went to bed.
Bzzt.
Bzzt.
Bzzzzzzzt.
Bzzt.
"FOR THE LOVE OF-" I grabbed my phone, opening it and putting it to my ear.
"(Y/n-!"
"Don't. I don't want to talk, I'll see you at school tomorrow. Stop calling me." I hung up, put away my phone and went to sleep. I heard my phone buzz once more, but none after that.
I sighed, rolling to look at my phone sadly.
Tomorrow's a new day,
And today was a new beginning.
I won't let him make me sad.
