(Y/n) has always attended Ouran. Her grades were always close to the top, and her status wasn't half bad either. She wasn't popular, not too well known, and liked to stick to herself and not stand out. Her parents are the infamous (l/n's), though a...
(Guys! I totally just realized I was using the wrong rose color, so I change the envelope color from blue to orange, I'm so sorry about the misunderstanding ;-; )
~(Y/n)'s POV~
"So, (Y/n)," Kairi began. We were in the limo on the way to school, and I had been lost in my own world staring out of the window. I raised my brows as I looked to the red headed girl, who only smiled at me.
"The hosts are hosting the ball, won't you have to work it too?"
"Ah, I already talked to Kyoya about that. He said since I'm still new, if I wanted to I could just attend as a guest, maybe dance with a few guys but not push myself too hard, since my arm is still healing, after all." I looked down at my arm, and Kairi followed my gaze. "I see." She smiled, gently rubbing my hand. "I really hope this person knows what they're doing. What if it's just one of your customers?"
"I'll just have to politely decline. I shouldn't have affairs with my guests."
"That's not it." Kairi smiled, but I shushed her, causing us both to erupt in laughter.
"We are here, Miss'" Hunter said, opening the door for us. I didn't realize we had already made it to Ouran, but that's fine. Kairi and I stepped out of the limo, and made our way into then school, and to our lockers. "I'll see you after school, okay?"
"Sure thing, bye, (Y/n)!" Kairi shouted, waving her arm and making her way to her class. I smiled at her antics, opening my locker, and widening my eyes as I saw an orange rose placed on top of my stuff. I picked up the delicate flower, and smiled lightly. Whoever this person was, they sure were trying hard to get my attention.
It was definitely working.
I jumped a little as I heard the bell ring, and slammed my locker and ran to class.
I huffed as I jogged into the room, taking a seat at my desk and laying down my head. I lifted my hand, staring at the rose it held, then placed it into my bag. I was so curious about this boy. What did he see in me? Did I know him?
I had my head resting in my hand, and I peered over, glancing at Kaoru from the corner of my eye. He was chatting with Hikaru and Haruhi, laughing about some kind of joke his brother told. I smiled slightly to myself.
There was no way he was this romantic.
I turned back to the front, just missing the set of amber eyes now looking in my direction.
"No way, (Y/n)! You've never tried that place!" One of my customers was telling me about one of his friends families restaurants, which was apparently well known. I shook my head, waving my hands in the air nervously. "I-I'm afraid I haven't!" I poked my bottom lip into a pout, turning away. "I'm always at home, helping the maids prepare for meals. I hardly go out for my own."
The three boys sitting at my table all went red, and each stammered. "U-Uh, i-it's okay! W-We-"
"Were just getting ready for the shift change. Move it boys, I've paid for an alone session with your dear (Y/n)." Kairi walked up, pulling back on the boys chairs, and nearly kicking them away from my table. I laughed, watching her sit. "I've never known you to be so shy."
"Please don't start." I laughed, taking a sip of my tea.
"I came here for a specific reason, I found what dress you should wear. I already called the store and had it put on hold, here look." She pulled out her phone, and pulled up a picture of a beautiful orange dress.
After almost 2 years, she still knew me so well.
