Nobody Compares. Chapter 1

"Were here!" My mom says as we park in the driveway of our new and gorgeous house.

"Woah. Now I'm having second thoughts about wanting to move back to Seattle!"

Mom just chuckles.

"I get first pick on the rooms!" I said before my brother could

"Which means second pick because your mom and I have first pick and we pick the master bedroom" Dad said as I jumped out of the car.

"Ugh okay well I call second biggest bedroom, then"

"Not fair! You had the second biggest bedroom at home in Seattle your whole life!" Logan, my brother complained

"Well I'm the oldest child and plus I offered to trade you but you said 'No' so.."

"Whatever"

I grabbed one of my many boxes and carried it up to my bedroom. I was astonished by how big it was. The room was painted an yellow, which I didn't like, I had two windows, one looking past our backyard, into the city and one right across from another window. I looked through the neighbors window and saw a blonde hair, blue eyed boy about my age. He was really cute. I couldn't help but to stare. He was singing a song I couldn't make out because my window was closed but it was only a few seconds long. I opened my window to here what the song was and he saw me staring at him. He's going to think I'm a creep now.

Oh god..

"Are you the new neighbor?" He said

"Uh yeah" I stuttered a little

"Oh cool! What's your name? I'm Jeffrey. Jeffrey Miller."

"I'm Skylar"

"What's your last name? Sorry if I sound like a stalker." He laughed a little

"Skylar Smith"

"That's a cute name" Jeffrey winked

Skylar started turning red.

"Thanks"

"Yeah. Do you wanna come over?"

"When?"

"Now if you want"

"Er give me an hour to settle down, take a shower and get ready"

"Sounds good! See you in an hour, Skylar" Jeffrey closed his window

An hour later...

Skylar walks down in her high wasted shorts, white daisy crop top and galaxy vans when she gets to the living room,

she sees Jeffrey talking to his parents.

"Jeffrey was just telling us that you guys have already met"

"Uh yeah"

I could feel myself blushing

"My parents should be over here anytime now"

"Perfect. Dinner should be ready In 20 minutes!"

"You're having dinner with us?" I questioned

"Yeah. Is something wrong?"

"Nope not at all" I smirked

At dinner

Jeffrey's mom had said something about people breaking into houses around this area and that I could come over to spend the night anytime. My mom said that Jeffrey could come over anytime too. I was really surprised because she never lets any of my guy friends stay the night.

"Wanna come over and watch a movie?" Jeffrey had asked me

I looked at my parents and they said it would be a good idea if I went and watched a movie. When we were at his house, I was amazed to see how big it was. It look almost exactly alike except it was bigger. Jeffrey's parents seemed super nice. They told me to make myself at home and they gave me flowers to take home. Well my family too but mostly me.

Me and Jeffrey made popcorn and went downstairs. It was huge. They're tv was huge and their chairs were super comfortable.

"This is our movie room. When any of us want to watch a movie, we come down here" Jeffrey explained

"I can tell!"

"Yeah. What movie do you wanna watch?"

"Uh I don't know. Up to you!"

" I think we should watch a scary movie" he suggested

"Why? So I can jump in your arms when I get scared?" I laughed

"No.." He said sarcastically

"Okay whatever. You'll be the one jumping in my arms when you get scared!"

"Or nah! Let's watch Cabin in the Woods!"

"That movie is so fake! Let's just watch Paranormal Activity."

"Fine!"

During the movie Skylar did get scared. She doesn't do well during scary movies so she just cuddled up with Jeffrey. She eventually fell asleep. When Skylar was sleeping, Jeffrey took her phone and put his number in it and his contact name under 'Jeffrey' with a bunch of hearts and texted himself so he had her number. After a while Jeffrey fell asleep too, holding Skylar in his arms.

Skylar's dad came over because she never came home but Jeffrey's parents told them to go home because they're just sleeping in the basement and they didn't do anything that they would disapprove of.

In the morning

Jeffrey's POV

She's so cute when she's sleeping. I think I'm starting to like her. A lot. I hope that Britney doesn't try to get in between me and Skylar. I broke up with her two months ago and she's still trying to get with me.

Skylar woke up 5 minutes later...
