Nobody Compares Chapter 14

When they got home, they moved everything out of Sky's room and placed newspaper on the ground so it wouldn't stain the carpet and that took about an hour considering how much stuff Sky had in her room.

As they started painting, it was already a big mess paint all over. Jeffrey even tripped over a can of paint and knocked it over. Jeffrey had paint all over his butt and started twerking which made Sky laugh.

After they finished painting, they went outside in the backyard and started throwing fists full of left over paint at each other. They were drenched in paint. And then Sky's mom came out and yelled at them and told them to clean up the backyard because they had gotten paint all over the trees and the pool side. Jeffrey got the hose out and sprayed Sky with ice cold water.

"JEFFREY!" Sky said trying to resist laughing.

"Your mom said to clean up! So I'm cleaning!"

Sky went all the way across the yard to where another hose had been and sprayed Jeffrey. They had another war but with water this time. After they finished cleaning the back yard, Jeffrey went home to get dressed up and take a shower because Sky's family was going out to dinner and Jeffrey always came even though he was never invited most of the time. When they got at the restaurant it was really fancy. Sky and Jeffrey messed around with everything like they always did.

When Jeffrey and Sky were holding hands, Sky's hands got sweaty so she untangled the intertwined fingers and wiped the sweat on his face.

"Oh you're going to get it good!" Jeffrey said grinning at Sky.

"Going to get what?" Sky said satisfying while taking a drink of her water.

"This!" Jeffrey smacked Sky's water while she was drinking it, pouring it all over her.

"Sorry my muscle reflexes are weird today!" Jeffrey grinned

"That's weird because mine are too!" Sky said, slapping Jeffrey in the face as hard as she could

Sky's parents were pissed.

"Jeffrey come sit in between me and Mark, Now!" (Mark is Skylar's dad)

"Ooooh!" Logan said.

Jeffrey got up and sat in between Sky's parents.

"Why doesn't she get a punishment?" Jeffrey complained.

"Because I didn't do anything!" Sky said trying to dry her dress as much as possible.

"Yes you did! You wiped our sweat on my face! And slapped me!"

"I don't know what you're talking about!" Sky smirked.

"Apologize to Jeffrey!" Sky's mom demanded.

"Why!?" Sky asked.

"You know why!"

"I don't know what you're talking about!"

"Apologize, Now or give me your phone!"

"Not my baby! Okay fine. I'm sorry, Jeffrey..." Sky said hugging her phone.

"I thought I was your baby!" Jeffrey said giving her the puppy dog look.

"Ew no. Not you! Gross." Sky laughed.

"Oh I feel it"

"I'm just kidding, babe!"

"That's what I thought!"

Sky took out her phone and took a picture on snap chat of Jeffrey sitting in between her parents. "Jeffrey's in time out" was the caption on the photo and she put it on her story.

"Kim! She took a picture of me!" Jeffrey whined to Sky's mom.

"Give me the phone, Skylar."

"You're such a tattle tell!" Sky called Jeffrey, handing her mom her phone.

"So are you!"

"Sike!"

"Shut up both of you! Or Jeffrey's not allowed to come to dinner with us anymore!" Mark snapped.

Skylar and Jeffrey gasped and didn't say another word for the rest of the dinner.
