Promise breaker Chapter 21

"She's awake!" Jeffrey yelled.

"Jeffrey?"

He didn't say anything. He just kissed her.

"Where am I?"

"You're at the hospital" Kim, her mom said.

"Why?"

"Jeffrey said you were chasing him because he wouldn't give you your phone back and you just passed out."

"Oh."

Did me and Jeffrey not do it, or was he just covering up for me?

"Uh. Can I speak to Jeffrey, alone please."

Everyone but Jeffrey walked out of the room.

"I need to ask you a question but you have to answer it seriously!" Sky said.

"Okay. What's up?"

"Did we?" She whispered.

"Did we what?" He whispered back

"Did we do it?" She whispered again

"Yeah we did." He said kissing her forehead.

"Thanks for being serious. Love you."

"Love you more!"

"I love you to the moon and back!"

"I love you to the moon and back infinite times"

"Whatever!" She smiled and kissed him.

"Can you tell my parents that they can come back in, please."

Jeffrey motioned his hands letting her family know to come in.

"Did you guys do it?" Mark, sky's dad asked.

They both looked at each other and started turning red.

"Uh, do what, d-dad?"

"You know, kiss"

"Oh. Yeah!" They both answered at the same time in relief.

"When do I get to go home?" Sky asked the nurse as she walked into the room.

"Today, once we check you out!"

"Okay, thanks!"

It took about two hours to finally check her out because the hospital was super busy.

When they got home, Jeffrey was trying to kiss her neck.

"Jeffrey, I'm super tired and my head hurts. Not today"

He moved up to her lips.

"Jeffrey Eli Miller!" She pushed him off of her.

"I'm sorry!"

"I'm tired. I just want to sleep."

"Can we cuddle?"

"I guess."

He slid under the blankets and wrapped his arms around her.

About two hours later, Jeffrey was awaken by his phone vibrating.

It was Sarah. (S- Sarah. J- Jeffrey)

S- hey. You should come over.

J- when? I'm with Skylar right now.

S- well nvm I meant now, silly!(;

J- she's sleeping and I don't want to wake her up.

S- come on! Please!

J- give me ten minutes.

S- yay! See you soon(;

Jeffrey tried to get up as quiet as he could, kissed her goodbye and left.

Fifteen minutes later, Sky woke up, she looked for Jeffrey but he left. He probably had to do his chores or something's so she got her iPad and saw that Jeffrey was live on YouNow. So she went and watched him. The room he was in, wasn't his room. It wasn't even at his house. She heard a familiar voice, it was Sarah's. She came and sat on his lap. Sky could feel her eyes watering. Everyone in the comments were saying "#Jarah" or "you two are a cute couple."

Sky texted Jeffrey, (S- Sky, J-Jeffrey)

S- So this is what you do when I'm not around? #Jarah

Jeffrey read the text, his eyes widened.

"Uh, sorry guys I have to go. I might broadcast later."

J- it's not what you think

S- it's exactly what I think. You leave me, go to Sarah's and act like you two are dating.

J- no!

S- whatever. You can have your promise ring back. I don't need it since you broke our promise. Goodbye, Jeffrey.

J- let me explain!

Sky didn't reply. She just sat in her room, tears rushing down her face. She decided to go for a walk down to the river to clear her mind, it was only about a mile away anyways.

When she started walking. She saw Jeffrey walking down the street. She tried to ignore him.

"SKY!"

He ran up to her.

"It's not what you think! I never asked Sarah to sit on me. I never asked her to kiss me either"

"You two kissed?" She started crying again.

"Shit."

Sky took off her ring.

"Here, give this to Sarah since you chose her over me"

"I didn't chose her over you!"

"So that's why you left me?"

"I WAS WITH YOU FOR THE PAST TWO DAYS. I NEVER LEFT YOU ONCE! I CANT GO HANGOUT WITH MY FRIENDS?"

Sky had never heard him use that tone of voice.

This time she ran. Jeffrey ran faster, probably since he plays soccer.

"Leave me alone!"

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to yell."

Sky just kept running.

He walked away.

"So you're just going to give up? I wanted you to fight for me, for us. But apparently not" Sky said.

"It's really hard if you act like I'm not even here. But whatever." He walked back to his house.

"I'm sorry." Sky said under her breath. She's just kept walking to the river. It was really dark out by the time she got there. She decided to walk home five minutes later. She heard something move in the bushes and started to freak out.
