"They're over there!" Jeffrey said pointing in the direction of his friends.

There was a girl in his group of friends who seemed to be glaring at us.

"Oh my god. There's my ex, Britney."

"The one staring at us?"

"Yeah.. Just act cool"

"Alright. I'll try."

When they walked up to his friends, he introduced me to his friends, Jacob, Max, Courtney, Kyle and Anna. Wow Jeffrey was telling his friends all about me! Does he like me? I hope so. After a little bit, we went to the food court and sat at a table and just started talking. I think when Jeffrey was saying a bunch of nice things about me, Britney got a little

"Enough of Jeffrey talking about you, I wanna hear you talk about you"

I didn't know what to say. Jeffrey didn't give me that much to say since he cleared almost everything about me.

"Uh. Well what do you wanna know?"

"Well what do you wanna know.." Britney said in a mocking tone of voice

Jeffrey glared at Britney.

"What? The way she said that, was funny!" She smiled

Jeffrey just rolled his eyes.

"Have you lived in Seattle your whole life? Well except for now" Max asked

"Uh yeah. I've never moved, not even to a different house. This is my first time moving. My mom got a job offering here as a nurse and that's why I'm here today."

After a while we stopped talking about me and started talking about the new pet store that was in the mall.

"Tell them about your dog!" Jeffrey mentioned.

"So she's your girlfriend now? I mean obviously she is if you keep changing the subject about her." Britney snorted as she rolled her eyes.

"No she's not my girlfriend. Not yet, anyways. Yes I do like her and no you won't get in the way of any relationship we have!" Jeffrey snapped.

You could see Britney's eyes starting to water. She got up and left. Everyone started staring at Jeffrey.

"Oh god. I didn't mean for it to come out like that." Jeffrey said.

I can't believe Jeffrey said he likes me! Maybe he was just saying that to make her jealous?

We were sitting in an awkward silence for at least five minutes.

Courtney and Anna finally got up and left.

"Hey! Where are you guys going!?" Kyle yelled through the food court

After about 10 minutes, Anna and Courtney returned with Britney.

"We want you to apologize to Britney." Anna whispered in Jeffrey's ear.

Jeffrey groaned.

"I'm sorry Britney for snapping at you like that. It was totally uncalled for." Jeffrey said unapologetically

"I knew you'd take me back!" Britney said as she got up, hugged him and even kissed him.
