Promise me Chapter 19

When Sky entered her room, Jeffrey had already picked out an outfit for her. It was a pink high waisted skirt and a black v-neck shirt with some white toms.

"I want you to wear this."

"Why? What's the occasion?

"I just want to take you out on a nice dinner"

"That's really sweet, Jeffrey but you really don't have to. You've spent enough money on me already."

"No I want to. If you don't, no cuddles for you for two whole days!

"No cuddles???"

"Yep!"

Sky got changed and went out to an early dinner. It was only 4 o clock.

During dinner, Jeffrey pulled out a little box and walked over to Sky.

"Uh what are you doing?"

Jeffrey opened the box and laid there were two silver rings.

"I'm not proposing but can you promise me that we'll stay together forever? Promise me that you'll love me forever? Please. I love you, Skylar Marie Smith."

"Yes, I promise! I love you too, Jeffrey Eli Miller" Sky started reading up

Inside of Sky's ring, Jeffrey's name with in infinity sign was carved in. Same with Jeffrey's but with Sky's name in it.

After dinner, this gorgeous girl approached Jeffrey.

"Oh my god! I haven't seen you since last year!" Said the girl.

"I know right! I miss you so much!" Jeffrey hugged her.

So many thoughts were rushing through her mind. Who is this girl? How does she know Jeffrey? Maybe they're just cousins or something.

"Sky, this is my ex, Sarah"

"Oh.."

"We should go see a movie sometime! I'll bring a date for your friend too!" Sarah said.

"Actually Skylar is-"

"I'm his girlfriend" Sky said cutting Jeffrey off.

"Oh... I didn't know you had a girlfriend.." Sarah looked upset.

"Here just text me and I'll see you around I guess.. Bye, Skylar" Sarah said handing Jeffrey her number.

The whole walk home was silent.

When they got back home, Sky went to get her pajamas and went to Jeffrey's house.

"Cuddles?" Jeffrey laid there on his bed opening his arms.

Sky just walked over there and put her head on his chest to listen to his heartbeat.

"Jeffrey.." Sky said playing with her ring.

"What's the matter?"

"How do you know something's wrong?"

"Well you were quiet the whole walk home so I just figured something was up."

"Why do you miss your ex?" Sky said out of no where.

"If you're talking about missing being together with Sarah, I don't. I just miss hanging out with her. She's a pretty chill girl."

"Why did you guys break up?"

"Because she moved to Manhattan."

"So if she still lived here, you two would still be together?"

"To be honest, probably not. It'd be really hard not to cheat on her with you." He winked.

"Oh okay."

"Don't worry, Sky. You're the only girl I love and want to be with. I'd do anything for you."

"Love you, Jeff."

"Love you more"

"Wouldn't count on it!"

The next day, since it was Sky's family's last day, they went to the amusement park. They all decided to go swimming first because the swimming place closed at 6:30 while the rides didn't close till 12.

"I dare you to go down that slide!" Jeffrey said pointing at the tallest, fasted water slide.

"Only if you do it first!"

"Okay let's go!"

The line was huge. They waited about 45 minutes in line.

Finally it was Jeffrey's turn. Jeffrey just went down it, no problem. Sky loved how Jeffrey wasn't scared of anything.

Then it was Sky's turn. She was nervous. She had never been down this slide before.

The life guard saw how nervous she looked.

"You sure you wanna go down this?"

"Uh y-yeah."

"Hurry up then. Look at the line."

Sky got in and the lifeguard slightly pushed her down since she wouldn't go down herself.

Sky screamed the whole way down.

When she got to the bottom she saw Jeffrey hugging Sarah.
