Is it so difficult to believe that I don't cuss? I didn't realize that curse words were a substance we needed to even function during the day. Yes. I said it. I don't cuss.
"But DJ!" You may say. "A character in your book cusses!"
Okay. Cool. I know that. I am the author afterall. They're cussing because that's their personality. I don't go around cussing at all. That's not me.
I'm so tired of people arguing with me over whether or not a actually cuss. And I'm even more tired of people trying to weed a cuss word out of me just to say, "AHA! I KNEW IT!" It's one of the most annoying things a person can do to me. I just so stupid. The thing that kills me is how much people treat it like a reaction game. They do the stupidest things just to get me to cuss. I'm not going to cuss just because you have the mind of a freaking five year old. Even when I do get "mad" I'm not even really mad. It's hard to get me mad. Most of what my friends have seen isn't even me being mad. It's just me being severely annoyed. Why does it even matter if I cuss or not? Why exactly is it affecting that person so much?
I'm not a strict a'hole that goes around monitering peoples speech because I really don't care. If you cuss, kudos to you. If you don't cuss, kudos to you. If I ever do comment on someone's speech it's because there's a time and a place. Like, you can't just go spewing out inappropriate words at a formal business occasion. That's stupid, and in my opinion people who argue otherwise are mannerless. There's a time and a place, as I've said. If we're hanging at my place and we're all playing a game of Sorry (or Monoply because we all know that game can get you really hyped up), who am I to stop you from dropping the F-Bomb? I mean, there are those people who don't want to hear cussing period because it makes them uncomfortable. But I honestly don't care east or west. I personally don't do it.
I personally don't do it.
I personally don't do it.
And people just need to leave it at that. Jeez.
