The title literally says it all.

I have no idea if any of you have had the priveledge/misfortune to read a story written in this way, but I have, way too many times to count.

And I never finish them lol.

If I wanted to read a book written like an anime, I would have hopped on MangaFox.

Lol, I'm such a d!ck.

If you can't tell by now, I really hate this writing technique.

For those of you who don't know, there are books on here that are written decently (at least, I've read decent ones), wherein the author makes the characters act like anime characters. From their behavior to the way they talk ("Uwah!" "Hnn, idiot!" "Waah~!" etc), I seriously can't do it.

Let me tell ya'll something. I was waiting for a book to be finished for almost a year so I could read it. I was super excited. I saw all my Wattpad friend reading it and talking about how much they loved it, and it was sitting in my library from the time it had only Chapter 5 until the time the author checked completed. I was absolutely ready.

I got about six or so chapters in and the character started showing his true colors. I'm talking about I was shell shocked. That main guy uttered, "Uwah!" And I thought, 'Okay, maybe the author watches animen or something.' I decided to brush off the first offense because I really wanted to read it. I was waiting nearly a year after all.

Then it just gets progressively worse and I had to stop reading the book. I haven't deleted it from my library because I keep telling myself that one day I won't be such a d!ck and I can continue reading it. (That'll be the day).

Listen, I'm not saying that anything is wrong with this style, but I personally can't endure it. It's just something I find really annoying.

Sorry not sorry.
