Okay, I don't read many of the rant books on this site to be completely honest. I can safely say I can count on one hand the ones I actually like. This includes Parogar's popular Haters Gonna Hate series. (Isn't that almost everyone's first rant book?)
Anyway, let me tell you about MissJenesequa's Wattpad Reality.
I love this book on so many levels. I read it silently at first, but I'm gonna go back and make comments on some of my favorite chapters.
There are so many good things about this book. Firstly, who can resist someone who calls people goats and fishnets?? I surely can't, and you can bet your bottom dollar that I'm gonna start calling people fishnets as soon as I step foot on campus Monday.
Secondly, the way it's written is seeped in her personal style and flavor. It's like you can hear her speaking! Since rant books are mostly opinionated, you almost always get the author's personal taste, but I don't know guys. Her style just grew on me. I just love this book so much, omfg.
Lastly, Miss. Jen is speaking the gospel. I'm telling you I have never heard such realism in my life on this site (aside from the other two rant books I've read), but she touches on some things I haven't seen in other rant books. Plus we agree on a lot of things (like how Kanyeinterruptedme is a superb author). I mean, with her amount of reads and comments, a lot of people must agree with her on some things.
My favorite chapter was called "Fake Comments" it was so funny because nothing needed to be said, like nothing at all. I loved it.
And so obviously loving her book, I had to take a look at her other works. I have to say, I'm really impressed. Being a POC myself, I was really happy to see that's mostly who her books are about and they're written very nicely. Some of you might know this or might not know this, but I'm starting my first POC book called That Indian Boy since I'm tired of not seeing any BoyxBoy books with leading POC characters. And That Indian Boy probably won't be my last.
This reminds me, I have to make a chapter about POC and Wattpad to be honest guys. I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it before or not, but in my opinion Wattpad needs a POC section. I'm gonna stop there because I'll talk about it in the POC chapter.
I'll put an external link to Miss. Jenesequa's book (when I figure out how to do that). You guys really should read her things! They're amazing. Well, I've only read her rant book, but if her other books have that kind of style and charisma I'll be reading those too!
