I wake up to the feeling of something sharp poking my face.
I slap my hand around on the floor until I find what was poking me.
It was a hair-clip.
But not just any hair-clip, it was the cucumber one I bought Y/N.
When did she come over?
I hop up and search the room for Gigi but there was no sign of her.
I run downstairs and find Jackson standing in the middle of the living room crying.
"Jackson, why are you crying??"
He wipes his eyes and sighs, his breath hitching.
"Y–Y/N. She hugged me like it was the last time she'll ever see me again."
I rub his back and jog outside, hoping to catch up with her and at least get an explanation as to why she's doing all of this.
I jog to the dog park on my way back home but there was no sign of her.
Defeated, I sat down on the front steps, looking up at the sky.

"Y/N, why do you always look up at the sky?" I asked her.
"Because, I feel like there's one special person that's looking out for you and if you look at the sky, they'll help you get through your problems or just be there for you."
I snorted. "That's dumb."
She sighed, still looking up at the sky.
"One day, Youngjae. One day you'll want someone to be your sky."

"Please be my sky, Y/N," I say softly while looking up at the pale January sky.
Something was thrown onto my back, startling me.
"It's cold outside, hyung. Next time, put on a coat," Yugyeom says while sitting down on the steps next to me.
I smile faintly at him as I put on the coat he brought out for me.
"It's going to be okay, hyung. Maybe this is for the best."
"You really think so?"
He nods. "I know so. Let's go inside. I'll make us a salad. With cucumbers."
I glared at him. "Do it and I'll have Buddy pee in your mouth when you're asleep tonight."
He held his hands up in defense. "Okay! I'm just kidding—no I'm not."
I took one more good luck up at the sky before walking inside, closing the door.
This may seem like a goodbye, like a part of my life has just ended but in reality...
