After SAO

Kazuto wakes up from the 2 years sleep to be greeted by the glare from his parent. "So, you finally waking up, huh?" His mother says with a scoff.

I want to go back... Thoughts Kazuto while he takes off his Nervegear.

"Alex, call the Doctor to check him." Minetaka says before he and Midori leave the room.

"Welcome back, Kazuto-sama!" Alex shouts as he hugs Kazuto warmly but carefully.

"Glad to see you again, Alex." Kazuto says with a smile. When Alex breaks the hug, it's time for Sugu to come.

"I miss you, Oni-chan." Sugu says as she cries on her brother's chest.

"Yo, Sugu. How've you been?" Kazuto says as he pats Sugu's hair.

"I'll call the Doctor here, Sire." Alex says before he takes out his phone.

Sugu breaks the hug and wipes her tears away. "I'm really glad you're back, Oni-chan." She says with a smile.

Kazuto doesn't answer back, I'm not that happy I'm back though... Thought Kazuto.

A few months later
10th of February 2025
9am America time

Though Kazuto just woke up 3 months ago, his parent already made him back to work full time. "I. Am. In. Hell. This is worse than SAO." Kazuto says as he turns the book's page.

"I miss Asuna..." He mumbles. "I want to see her again..."

He lets out a sigh in desperate. 

KNOCK KNOCK

"Oni-chan, may I come in?"

"It's open, Sugu." Kazuto says as he closes the book and leans back on the chair.

Sugu opens the door and immediately run to her brother and hug him. "S-Sugu?! W-What's wrong?" Kazuto panics.

Sugu doesn't answer her brother, but instead, she started to cry. Kazuto, who doesn't understand anything, just pats her sister like a big brother. "Can you tell me what's wrong?" He asks again.

Sugu breaks the hug as her brother get up from his seat. He let Sugu sits in his chair while he takes a knee in front of her. "Sugu, I can't help you if you don't tell me what's going on." He says.

"It's not me who need help, Oni-chan..." Sugu says as she wipes off her tear. "I overheard Mom and Dad's conversation."

This can't be good, thought Kazuto.

"What did they talk about?"

"T-They said they w-wanted to send you t-to London..." Sugu says in the middle of her cries.

Kazuto doesn't say anything, he just stays quiet. He nods his head with a smile, "It's alright, Sugu..." Kazuto says to calm her down. "I'm not going to let them do what they pleased..."

Kazuto caresses Sugu's hand, though there's sadness in his face. "You have to get out of here, Oni-chan."

"Like I can do that..." Kazuto says with a sad scoff.

"You can! Mom and Dad are in the living room far away from your room now. So, let's go!" Sugu stands up from my chair. "I'll tell Alex-san, you go pack your stuff. Hurry or they'll notice!" She says again before she runs out from her room.
