Not Everything Can be Bought by Money

Chapter 4

Kazuto's POV
10am

"Like I said, this is not how you're supposed to make a better phone." I say as I shake the phone in front of the designers. "This is an upgraded, yes. But, not good enough for the people that have used other phones."

All the designers look down not able to look at me in the eye. "We're terribly sorry, Kirigaya-san." One of them says.

I put the phone on the table and take a seat on the sofa in front of them. I let out a sigh before I take out my phone. "Look at here." I say. They all raise their heads. "See this? This is what the people need now." I move my phone to the front slightly as a hologram screen start to appear. "Hologram." I say simply.

The people widen their eyes in amazement. "There's no way we could make this, Sir."

"Not if you make it like that." I point the phone on the table.

I put my phone back to my chest pocket as I stand up. "If you think that my phone is too hard for you to make, how about making something better and useful?"

"But, how?"

"I don't know. Maybe you could make the phone's camera better or make the battery last longer or even don't need a battery at all. Just think of something that has a benefit to the people nowadays."

They all give a bewildered look. "God, this is annoying." I whisper as I rub my forehead in frustration. "You know what, this is going nowhere." I walk out of the room.

"W-Wait, Kirigaya-san." They all run after me.

I take out my phone and begin typing on something. "I've sent you some ideas you can use. Go ahead and take a look at them." I say as I wave around my phone at them.

"H-HA! Arigatou gozaimasu." They say with a bow.

I walk back to the lobby and see Alex sitting on the bench waiting for me. "Is it done?"

"Yup. Come on let's go." I say as he stands up and opens the door for me.

"Where do you wanna go now, Sire?" He asks as the driver stops in front of us.

"Let's have lunch. I'm hungry." I answer while I get into the car.

"Very well then. Do you have anything you want to eat?"

"Anything is fine." I say before I take out my laptop. "Try to surprise me."

The driver drives the car out from the building and goes to the restaurant following the directions from Alex. "Oh yes, I almost forgot."

"What is it?"

"Suguha-sama called me."

"Eh? When? I thought you burnt our numbers and change it into the new ones."

"I did. She called me before I burnt it."

"That was already a long time ago."

"I'm terribly sorry."

"Don't be. What did she say?"

"Your parent is looking for you."

"Really? I'm surprised." I say.

"What happened if they come to Japan, Sir?"

"We'll just avoid them."

5pm

I close the door behind me and take off my blazer. "Right... Let's take a short rest before I continue." I say as I lay down on the bed.
