Chapter 25

Kazuto's POV
26th of April 2025

Today is the day we're going on a picnic with Asuna and the others. We agree to meet up in the park at lunch time. I'm wearing a plain white shirt with a black cardigan over it. While Eugeo's wearing the same as me, but the cardigan is blue.

Alice is also coming since she's bored staying in the house. She's wearing a light blue dress that reaches down to her knees. There's a white frail on the lower of the dress. "Even today, you guys are wearing matching clothes..." I mutter while going out of the house.

"Would you believe me if I said it's a coincidence?" Eugeo dumbly asks.

I let out a scoff while going into the car. "Yeah, somehow a couple that is sleeping in one room with the same closet can end up wearing something coincidently the same. Wow! Amazing!" I say sarcastically. "You two must be very secretive on each other."

"Just say that you're jealous that you never do this with Asuna, Kazuto." Alice teases as they get into the car once I'm all set.

"Me? Jealous? Oh, no, no, no, no, I could never be jealous of you two." I shake my head while waving my hand gently.

Alice and Eugeo just laugh. "Sure, Kaz, sure."

When we arrive at the park, "You're right, Eugeo. It's not that crowded." I say while I wait for the two of them to get out of the car.

"Yeah, if you want to have a picnic here. You need a permission of sort." He says grabbing the basket from Alice.

"I see. No wonder."

"Sate (Now then), let's find a good spot for the picnic." Alice says grabbing Eugeo's hand before we walk into the park.

"The breeze in April is truly the best." I say.

"You can say that again." Eugeo says.

After a short walk, we find a nice spot for the picnic. "This should be good." Eugeo says as he lays the blanket on the grass. "Need any help sitting down, Kaz?"

"That'd be nice." I say before he helps me once I deactivate EC.

Alice put a small pillow under my broken leg. "There you go. All comfy." She says.

"Thanks, Al."

15 minutes later

"Oh look, Kaz. They're here." I open my eyes and see Asuna with the others walking.

"Yo Kirito!" Klein shouts waving his hand.

"Hey, guys." I say raising my hand before they all take a seat in the blanket. Asuna is on my right, next to her is Liz, Silica, and Klein. While on my left is Eugeo and Alice.

"You're looking better." Liz says.

"Thanks. Though I still can't use my hands." I say raising the casted hands.

"It'll heal in no time, Kirito-kun." Asuna says holding my forearm.

I smile to her, "Let's eat then." Alice says clapping her hands. She takes out the food that was on the basket while Asuna does the same.

"I made your favourite sandwich for you, Kirito-kun." She says.

"Uwaa! Arigatou yo, Asuna!" I exclaim as she hands me the sandwich.

After lunch

I lean on the tree enjoying the breeze that keeps on blowing. The girls are walking around the garden seeing the flowerbeds and the sakuras. While Eugeo and Klein are sitting near me talking about stuff which I wasn't listening to.
