I lay down on my bed with my legs crossed and my hands under my head. Should I ask Asuna out? It is summer now...

"Knock knock." I turn my head to the left and see Eugeo by the door. "Sorry to interrupt." He says walking in.

"It's okay, I wasn't doing anything either. What's up?" I ask as I sit up.

"Well, we have reached the summer now." He says. I nod my head at that. "We have an annual party in the second week of summer." I narrow my eyes in dissatisfied. "Now, Kazu, don't give me that look."

"You know I don't like parties, Eugeo," I say crossing my arms on my chest.

"Come on~, it's a beach party, Kaz. We'll be barbequing and there will be fireworks. It'll be fun!" He tries to reason. "And, Alice invited Asuna there." That catches me immediately.

I let out a long sigh, "I'll... Think about it." I say looking away from him.

"Perfect!"

I jump down from my bed and leave my room followed by Eugeo. "Is there anything else you want to tell me?" I ask him sliding my hands to my pockets.

"Yes, actually." He says before I feel a grip on my shoulder. I stop and turn my head to him.

"What?"

"It's summer." He says sternly.

"You have mentioned that earlier."

"Then, why are you here?!" He literally shouts. You should be glad that Alice is not here. The grip on my shoulder tighten. "You're supposed to take Asuna out or something!" He starts to shake me.

Why is he always like this?!

"Stop it!" I shout before I push him away. "What is wrong with you?!" I tidy up my shirt while glaring at him.

"You know what's wrong! Why are you staying in this house while out there is a perfect time for a couple to go out?!"

What are you? My matchmaker or something?!

"I don't see any of this is your business, Eugeo," I say before turning around and walk away from him. I can hear his footsteps behind me. "And you're one to talk. You're on this house either. Not out there with Alice."

"I've already taken her out yesterday and the day before. Now, she's having some girl's time with your girl." I walk to the kitchen and take out a fresh drink from the kitchen. "While you, my brother, you've been doing nothing except laying in your room and do some sketching."

I sit on the bar kitchen while Eugeo leans on the counter with his arms crossed. "What? Are you scared to take her out or something?" I choke on my drink when he says that.

"What the Hell are you talking about?" I ask in between coughing. I can hear his chuckles.

"Well, it's the only explanation I could think of." He says with a shrug. I glare at him. "Or do you have another reason?" He gives me the smirk that really makes me want to punch him.

"None of your business," I say while I jump down from the bar. "Why are you asking all of those nonsense questions?"

"Just curious, that's all."
