Chapter 14

Kazuto's POV
26th of March 2025
2.30pm

I lean on the school's gate as I wait for Asuna to finish her class. "So, this school is special for SAO survivors, huh..." I talk to myself as I stare at the building. "It's actually quite nice." I fold my arms on my chest.

After the school bells ring, I can see many students start to walk out of the building. I can even hear some of them talk about me.

I let out a sigh, "I think that nickname will stick on me until I die." I say while shaking my head.

I look at the door and spot a familiar chestnut hair walking out with two brunettes. "Oh, Kirito! Why are you here?" Liz asks as soon as they stand in front of me.

"Hey, Girls." I greet ignoring Liz's question.

"Hello, Kirito-san." Silica greets back. "Are you here for Asuna-san?"

"Yes, I do, actually." I say unfolding my arms.

"Oh? What's going on?" Asuna asks as she tilts her head in confusion.

"Well, I'm going home after this anyway. So, you two go and have fun." Liz says as she walks away.

"See you tomorrow, Liz." Asuna waves her hand at Liz. Silica waves at her too.

"I'm going home too. See you tomorrow, Asuna-san. Nice to see you again, Kirito-san."

"Ah. Careful when you're going back." I say as I wave bye-bye at Silica.

"So, what is it?" Asuna asks.

"I'll tell you in the car." I say pointing at the car.

We get into the car. "Alright, so my Uncle made a party in his company this Saturday. And, my Aunt sort of make me come there. Eugeo, being a traitor, told my Aunt about you. So, now, she wanted me to take you with me."

"But, I thought that you are hiding?"

"I am. My Aunt threatens me, so I don't have any other choice over here..." I say before I let out a sigh.

"It's okay, Kirito-kun. I understand." She says grabbing my hand. "I'll come to the party with you."

"H-Honto (Really)?" I ask with a bright smile on my face.

"Mhm." She says with a nod.

"Thank you."

"Don't mention it. I don't mind doing it if I'm with you." I can't help, but slightly blush when she says that.

"Oh, I almost forgot. Uh, I'll be meeting my Uncle tomorrow afternoon. Are you busy at that time?"

"Hmm, let me check my schedule first." She says as she takes out a notebook from her bag. "I don't have anything that time. And, there's no homework I have to finish either." Damn it!

"G-Great! Then, I'll pick you after school. Is that okay?"

"Mhm." She says with a nod.

"We have arrived, Sire." The car stopped in front of Asuna's house. I open the door and walk out and let Asuna get off. 

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow." I say as she unlocks her house.

"Mhm. Don't overwork yourself, Kirito-kun." She says before giving a quick kiss on my cheek.

I nod my head before she walks into her house. I walk back to the car and drive back to my house.

Next day
2.30pm

"Aarrgh... I really do hate party..." I mumble as I slip my light blue jumper over my head.

Alex is standing near the door while holding my navy blazer. "I think it's better this way, Young Master." He says as I walk to him and wear the blazer.
