Danny walked into a small record shop, the bell ringing as the door opened. Danny had been trying to find places, such as music stores, to hang up flyers for the Greta Van Fleet show that was tonight. The boys were playing at a bar, which took a lot of convincing towards the manager, but they were excited none the less. They could finally perform for an audience that didn't just include their parents.

Danny went to the board nearby towards the door and placed the flyer on it, securing it with a pin. After doing that, he decided to look around for any records that peaked his interest. As he was looking through the basket with the blues records, he could hear a soft melodic voice coming from a room close by.

He placed the vinyl he picked out and put it back in the basket, deciding he would go back to it later. He stepped towards the voice and as he got closer, he could make out the lyrics from dust in the wind. There was a room that was separate from the records but there was just a step that lead to it instead of a door.

He stepped into the room and found himself in an area with guitars in every corner of the room it seemed like. In the right corner of the room, in the very back, there was a girl with short, curly black hair that was strumming on her guitar. Her eyes were shut closed as if the sounds coming from the guitar were enveloping her body. She opened her mouth to continue the lyrics and it seemed as the most pleasant sound came from it. Her voice was very soft, almost a whisper, but it was very beautiful.

Danny was continuing to step closer to the girl, not really knowing what he would say when he finally got near her. As these thoughts circulated his brain though, a creak from the floor resulted as he just stepped on the floor once again. The girls eyes immediately opened and widened. A blush came to her cheeks and she fumbled as she placed the guitar in the case that was right next to the stool she was just sitting on.

Danny's eyes widened as well. He didn't mean to disturb the girl. He had just kept walking towards her, as if there was a magnet pulling the two closer together. Danny felt extremely bad about invading the peace she had been going through when she was performing.

"Sorry! Ummm... I didn't realize anyone had come into the store, " She stuttered, as she stepped down the step towards the desk with the cash register on it that was by the door. He followed after her, taken aback at how he was immediately attracted to her. He thought it was cute how she stuttered over her words and how rosey her cheeks would get.

" No! It's quite alright! I didn't mean to disturb you, " Danny said, sending her a soft smile from the area where he was trying to find the blues album he had before. He finally found the basket, grabbed the vinyl and took it in his hands. He brought it up to her and placed it on the desk.

She smiled up at him but quickly averted her eyes to scanning the vinyl. Her fingers bounced on the cash register, Danny guessing she was probably putting in the price of the vinyl. Her cheeks were still as red as when he found her playing the guitar and singing. He didn't realize he made her nervous because of how attractive she also thought he was.

" That will be $6.65, " She said softly. Danny has noticed she seemed to always talk in a soft voice which was actually very soothing to him. He grabbed his wallet from his back pocket and got the money that he needed to give her. As he was doing this, the girl noticed the flyer he had put up earlier. Her eyebrows furrowed as she saw that the guy in front of her was one of the males pictured on the flyer.

" Is that your band? " She questioned, grabbing the money from his hand as he had it out to her. She noticed the slight shiver that went up her spine and how soft his hands were when she barely had touched them. She put the money into the cash register, grabbed the receipt and gave the receipt and vinyl to him.

" Yeah! We are performing tonight at this bar. It's just down the street, actually. You can come if you want. I mean, you don't have to but it would be cool if you did, " Danny stammered, as he grabbed the receipt, which he bunched up in his pocket and he placed the vinyl under his arm. He noticed how much he rushed his words when he was near her. He scratched the back of his neck, anxiously waiting for what she was going to say.

" I would love to see the band you are in perform tonight, " She said, smiling at him. She could visibly see how relieved he had become and a smile arrived on his lips. She had decided, then and there, that his smile was one of the most beautiful smiles she had ever seen.

" I am so glad! It would be so nice to see you there, " He smiled, as he was heading towards the door. " Again, I am so sorry for invading earlier and thank you so much for allowing me to listen to this incredible album. " He smiled at her and raised the vinyl up. She giggled at him. She was so amazed at him. He was opening the door to the outside when he heard a " wait " come from the girls mouth.

" I never told you my name. It's Ally, " She softly spoke. Danny smiled at her. Her name was beautiful and it suited her personality, from what he had seen of it.

" Mine is Daniel, but most people call me Danny, " He said, as he walked out of the store. For the rest of the day, Ally and Danny could not wait until that night when they could finally see each other once again.
