" josh! hurry up! " the girl yelled, getting off from on top of the boy, brushing off the grass from her outfit and quickly running to the stage.

josh raised his head from the ground to see the girl already, it seemed like miles, away. he could hear the music starting to play and decided he should get his ass off the ground to go listen. he got up, rearranging the feathers on his head to make sure they would stay.

he smiled, hearing the familiar tune of jefferson airplane knowing that that was liz's favorite band. he caught up to her fairly quickly, which he did not expect seeing the crowd of people that were now nearing the stage. liz was gazing up at the stage, seeing grace slick pour her soul into singing for the crowd. she admired that.

josh smiled at her, seeing her eyes twinkle with light at the sight of music being performed in front of her. liz's parents hated the rock n' roll music that was coming out. they thought it was all about sex. but it wasn't. it was about the love and unity of people and expressing yourself.

liz felt josh wrap his arm around her shoulder and she gently closed her eyes, leaning into him. she could never be as happy as she was right now. the energy from the band and others around her was incredible, and it was almost hard to describe if she had to explain to someone her time there.

liz heard the first note from white rabbit and quickly opened her eyes, glancing at josh. he smiled at her, knowing this was one of her favorites as she would play the record almost every single day. she started moving her hips to the song and putting her hands up in the air, mouthing the lyrics to the song.

josh was in awe of this woman that he loved so much. music was one of the things that connected them and to see it all right in front of him was phantasmagorical. ( i had to.)

after an hour or so, the band ended. liz was fairly upset but she knew one day she would see the band perform again. she couldn't dwell cause she knew of all the other performers she was going to see.

liz and josh went to their makeshift area that they were at before jefferson airplane had started. they both sat down onto the grass and put their hands down, and somehow they could still feel and hear the music in their entire being.
