[ this is for another winner of one of my challenges on the Avengers Amino. ]

You and your friend walked the sidewalks of New York city. The both of you were huge fans of Thor and hoped to maybe see him on your walk.

"Do you want to get Starbucks?" your friend asks, pulling out her wallet to start counting her money. "I have twenty bucks, you?"

"Would you two know where the nearest restroom is?" an unfamiliar, royal sounding voice interrupted.

You and your friend turned around. She looked confused, while your eyes scanned the man's face. No one said anything for a few moments, and you three just stood there awkwardly looking at each other. Finally, it clicked in your head and you recognized who you were really talking to.

"Aren't you Loki?" you blurted out as you tapped your chin. "You look really familiar."

Loki rolled his eyes, and scoffed, trying to hide a small smile. "Yes, it is I, Loki, prince of Asgard, god of mischief."

"OMG!" you squealed and jumped up and down. "Well, I'm [Y/N] and this is [Y/F/N]!" Your friend looked at you like you were a bit crazy, but introduced herself as well and beginning to accept you were too excited to see the guy who destroyed Manhattan.

"Where is the bathroom?" Loki asked again.

You looked at your friend with a mischievous smile, before looking back to Loki. "There's a bathroom in Starbucks, where we're heading. Do you want to come with us and maybe get something too?"

"I don't have money-"

"I can pay for you."

Loki then agreed to come with you and your friend, who ended up third wheeling. It was only a short walk, but you had a lot to say and only so much time to say it.

"So, what's it like on Asgard?" you asked, trying to stop smiling so much. "It must be gorgeous."

"Very much so," Loki responded with a nod, examining Starbucks' sign. "This sign looks...interesting."

"You should see their menu," you scoffed as you opened the door.

As you and your friend waited in line, Loki went to the bathroom. He told you his drink choice beforehand, and came out just in time when your order name was called. The three of you chose to sit outside at a small table. You took a selfie with Loki and posted it on Instagram moments later. Two hours later, the three of you were done with your drinks.

"Thanks for hanging with us, Loki," you said with a smile and you hugged him goodbye.

"It was fun, [Y/N]," the god replied, the Tesseract appearing in his hand. "I must return to Asgard."

Your eyes widened, and within moments, Loki was sucked up in a rainbow.
