[ 2008 ]

You calmly walked down the busy New York street, humming with your earbuds in your ears. It was chilly, and even your scard couldn't block out the cold. Something then caught your eye.

Stark's Shwarma

"A shwarma place?" you said to yourself. "This is new."

You crossed the street, jaywalking until you reached the opposite sidewalk. The neon sign was definitely new, and the letters on the glass door were unfamiliar. Your hand gripped the door handle, and pulled it open. It felt like no one else has used-

"My first customer!" a man shouted excitedly from behind the counter. "Welcome to Stark's Shwarma! I am Tony Stark."

His first outburst startled you at first, but you then smiled brightly at the man. He seemed nice.

"Hi," you responded cheerfully. "This is new, right?" Your hand gestured to your surroundings.

The man nodded and averted his gaze to the floor before looking back at you. Something about him made him seem a little bit nervous. His eyes flicked to the counter and somethin clicked.

"Oh, yea," he chuckled nervously. "Do you want some shwarma?"

[ 10 YEARS LATER - 2018 ]

"Talk about a glo-up," you thought to yourself out loud.

You stood outside of Stark's Shwarma, which used to look like a subway. Now it looks like some fancy restaurant for rich people that takes up an entire building.

Ever since you moved away from New York, no shwarma place was as good as Stark's. Luckily you and Tony had stayed in touch and he has kept you updated on everything. You bit the inside of your cheek to keep you from smiling, as your hand gripped the same door 10 years ago and pulled it open.

Inside it was gorgeous. It looked fancy on the outside, and was fancy on the inside too. Chandeliers hung from the ceiling and you couldn't help but smile a bit. You could see the original Stark's Shwarma neon sign and began to cheerfully laugh, but you covered it up with a cough so you wouldn't seem weird or awkward.

There was a bit of a commotion, and you looked around to see a familiar face.

"My first customer!"
