"This is going to be so lame," Sam groaned, as the team found their way through the theater's crowded hallways. "Just like another history lesson."
"I heard it's really good," Natasha argued, punching Sam's shoulder. The gesture earned a small glare from Steve; no fighting like that in public.
"You better be right, Nat," Tony said. "Or else I wasted $1000 for nothing."
Tony, Steve, Clint, Natasha, Thor, Bucky, Sam, Vision, Rhodey and Peter strolled through the halls like pros to find their seats. Though, they had to ask an usher to find their seats. Kids at school talked to him about how Hamilton was life changing and incredible, which made Peter very jumpy and not being able to sit still in their seats.
Once they were finally settled, a voice came over the speakers. The voice sounded British and instructed the audience to silence their phones and that recording the performance is prohibited. The team whispered amomgst themselves, deciding on the fact that the outro deemed the voice as King George.
The musical left the team speechless as they left the theater. Wanda wiped a tear as she held on to Vision's arm. Sam, Bucky, and Steve all had puffy eyes, signals that they had cried, but were trying to play it off as allergies with fake sneezes.
"That was amazing," Wanda sniffled. "$1000 well spent, Stark."
Peter nodded, typing something into his phone, and putting on some beats. He took a deep breath and smile, his lips moving the slightest as if he was whispering.
"Thor wouldn't shut the fu- is this kid SERIOUSLY listening to the soundtrack after we just left?" Rhodey groaned after flicking Peter in the head.
"I was excited," Thor retorted, crossing his arms. "It was great art. Bruce would have enjoyed it."
"You can tell your boyfriend all about it when we get home," Bucky rolled his eyes as the Quinn Jet's ramp lowered.
"Banner is not my-"
"It's a joke."
An hour later, the Jet landed in the hangar in the compound. Weeks later, the entire team was rehearsing Cabinet Battles #1 and #2 with each other.
"$1000 very well spent," Tony said, sipping his coffee.
