spooky scary skeletons - thor

whoops i haven't touched this idea since October 14th.. 😂

"What happened to these poor souls?" Thor's loud voice boomed, inside of Target.

"Thor those are skeletons."

"Yes, obviously, but how did they die?"

"Thor those are fake."

"Oh."

You tried to hold back the big grin that spread from ear to ear. Thor always made you laugh even when he wasn't trying. He examined the plastic pieces before huffing and crossing his muscular arms.

While you hummed the tune to "Spooky Scary Skeletons" and looked at Halloween costumes, Thor continued to check each and every plastic skeleton. Apparently he hasn't been on Earth during the Halloween season before. His intent stares told you that he was determined to find one that was alive.

After thoroughly checking each one, he turned around to face you, confusion and embarrassment clear on his face. Your eyes drifted to look behind his when you saw one of the skeletons twitch.

"Thor, one of them just moved," you squeaked, stepping back and pointing at the plastkc figures.

"No, [Y/N], they're plastic," Thor mimiced, sarcasm dripping from the tone in his voice.

Suddenly one of the plastic figures reached out and grabbed Thor's throat and threw him down the aisle. All of the skeletons began to fall off the shelves, green magic swirling around them. This stunt had Loki written all over it, and you giggled as Thor ripped the fake monsters apart, having a full on battle.

"I should have never believed you, [Y/N]!" Thor shouted, grunting as he fought his plastic foes. "They are alive!"

To join in on the fun, you kicked, ripped, and punched them as well. The fun soon ends when Thor reaches out for Stormbreaker, and you are too slow to open your mouth when it zips right to his hand, destroying everything in it's path. All the skeletons find their ways back to the shelves within seconds, including the broken ones. You couldn't help but break out in laughter.

"Some fierce skeletons," Thor spat, still in his fighting stance. "Of course they ran from me."

"Thor," you coughed, losing breath, "that was a joke. Scared of the spooky scary skeletons?"

All of a sudden that song blasted over Target's loudspeakers, making you laugh harder and leaving Thor very confused.

"Aw man, we're gonna have to pay for the damage."
