I was running after him and then he turned back and passed me an evil smile. Before i could understand i was trapped in a cage. A bloody freaking cage! As if it can stop me.

"Finally" someone shouted. i turned and found a hunter who caged me.

Fuck! i swear Harshad if it was your plan then you are gonna have it but now i have to get rid of this.

ouch!! what the hell is he doing? Wolfsbane! I growled and he flinched.

"Ahaa trying to scare me you stupid dog. nice try!" he said and continues injecting the rest of wolfsbane in me making me weaker. i couldn't even inform Cabir.

i tried to break the cage with my leftover strength.

"Fiesty! Dont worry dog. Not planning to kill you, just gonna sell you". i stiffled a laugh thinking only if he knew who am i and then found myself drowning in dizziness hearing his last words "that guy was correct."

Cabir's Pov

"Manik!Manik! where the hell are you." why the hell he isn't responding me.

"cabir, did u contact manik. where is he? Did he catch that jerkshad? I don't understand why bhai had to run behind him alone when we know he never plays it fair. Now why are you quiet. Say something Cabir." shouted Mukti Malhotra

"Muku if u let me say something then i will speak na. I dont know why manik isn't responding. And about that jerk i just know he met manik few metres away from border line when manik was returning from town. he told me he is going to follow that jerk and beat him for coming near his pack. i ll just take few members and go to check on him"

"yes please" with that mukti left towards kitchen and i went outside to take guards with me for Manik dhundo mission.

After 1 hour

manik mere bhai where are you. It's been one hour since we have been looking for you.

"Dhruv, Did u find any clue", i asked Dhruv, the gamma of the pack. He went to look in the north part of our pack while i came towards west.

"No but .." before he could complete it i lost my temper and shouted in my beta voice "everyone back to pack house we are going on a war with Dark moon pack." Eveyone howled and started pacing back towards pack house but then suddenly dhruv said" let me finish atleast Cabir, i dont think it's Harshad. There are marks of truck's tire. I think humans were here or maybe hunters"

i got shocked. 'wtf manik what have you got yourself into.' i told everyone to return to pack house and to discuss what can be done to find manik.

"What do you mean by you couldn't find Manik amd there were no traces" shouted nyonika aunty manik's mother.

"You need to calm down nyo. Cabir do you think it was hunters who took him away." Raj uncle manik's father asked.

"No raj. It was Harshad. I am sure. There are no hunters in this area. Please get back my son Raj!" cried nyonika.

"Even i think mom is correct. Hunters can't come into this area unless they are" said mukti who was interuppted my alia who said "informed specially." At this everyone gets attentive and started joining the dots.

"I am going to kick his ass. How he can plan something like this for my brother. Does he even think before doing anything? He is putting whole werewolf committee in danger " shouted mukti leaving the hall towards the door.

Before i could run after her i heard a voice in my head " cabir listen i am fine." and i purred in happiness and screamed like an excited child "Manik" and found everyone giving me horrified looks. oh freak i just purred.

Manik's Pov

"30 dollars, not a penny more" i heard someone saying. i opened my eyes trying to adjust to lights around and found myself in a pet shop. Like seriously a pet shop 😂😂😂 who keeps a wolf for the sale man. Now i am sure it must be Harshad's idea. Only he can give such lame ideas.

"fine give me money so i could just leave and get rid off this dog." i growled when he called me dog. He flinched and found me awake and i glared at him.

"aww is my little pup angry.? so here i leave and thanks pup for 30 dollars." i widenedy eyes at that what just 30 dollars. comeon man i am so hot, sexy, good looking. i am manik a gem rare to find but was interrupted by someone's laugh.

"seriously gem. hahaha" here comes my annoying wolf Leo.

"ohh u are back. Yes i am a gem. Mom's gem. " and i smiled thinking about my mum.

For the first time he talked something sensible and immediately started contacting cabir via mindlink. He must be tensed.

Manik: so here am i trapped now. So get your ass over here and buy me.

Cabir(laughing) : whatttt. my goodness. manik no problem you stay there for few days and then we ll come to get you bubbieee

Manik: shut up!! u wont believe it the shopkeeper over here literally took out the fish out of his tank and eat it like that. soch mera kya hoga.

Cabir(disbelief): Manik did Harshad hit u on ur head. Wait i am coming.

Manik: listen give 60 dollars for buying me.
