Part 2: New School and Soulmate Meeting

I woke up bright and early the next day getting ready to meet my soulmate. 

Will he be tall or short, handsome or just joking there is no way he can't be handsome, he's my soulmate after all. I'm gonna be so happy after. 

I packed my pink bag and headed out. I was practically glowing, which I suppose I was because as you get closer to your soulmate, you start to glow. The glow gets stronger the closer that you get to meeting them. 

My aura was bright pink and it was growing brighter. I'm kinda nervous but I'm mostly excited as I smiled and stood in front of my new school. 

I grinned like a fool, stood up tall, pushed a blond strand of hair out of my face, and stepped into my new school. I walked around until I found the main office. 

The nice thing about this part of meeting your soulmate, only you and your soulmate can see your aura. It's really awesome like that.

I walked into the principal office and was literally glowing, pink and my facial expression. I was very excited. 

The principles name was Mrs. Franklin. She was very nice, she showed me around and then showed me to the cafeteria. As we were walking around the school, my glow faded and then grew stronger as we entered the cafeteria. It was deserted other than a girl who seemed to be about my age. 

She had short red hair, that contrast nicely with my bright blonde. She was tall and wore flannel. She was glowing. She was glowing pink, and it was really bright. 

She is my soulmate... No. No no no no-no-no. 

I can't have a girlfriend!

This can't be happening! I'm religious. This is evil. I'm gonna go to hell. 

No. 

Wait, she's kinda cute... No no no no no hell no... 

What happens if my parents find out! This wasn't my choice! I hate this! I'm not a fag! What the fuck is wrong with me!

I can't deal with this right now I need to keep acting calm and cool and professional at least until Mrs. Franklin leaves. 

Mrs. Franklin smiles and says, "This is Kennedy, she is a very talented student at our school. She will be showing you around and I hope you two will become good friends." 

I nodded thanked her for showing me around and sat down next to Kennedy. The glow around us both died as soon as I sat down. 

She smirked at me and winked then went on to say, "So, you're the girl of my dreams hu? You are cute, with all the pink you wear and your gorgeous lightly tanned skin and blonde hair. You're just a snack aren't you!"

I blushed hard and said nothing.  

She scoffed, then said, "So I'm Kennedy and your name love?" 

She said it like she would just any other sentence. It kinda bugged me a little bit.  

"I... um... Ella..." 

That was great Ella, your soulmate is literally sitting across from you and you can't even speak properly. 

What the fuck is wrong with me? Ugg, shit. 

Then she started to sing. I could hear her out loud and in my head. Her voice was beautiful, just like her... 

NO. 

We can't do that we discussed this- This is not allowed. 

 She sang,
