Kennedy finished up her last few minutes of practice as I admired her from afar. She came up to me when she was finished, "You ready?" She reached out her hand to me, asking me to hold it.

"Y-yeah..." I took her hand as we started walking off into the sunset towards Kennedy's home.

"What was it you wanted to tell me about before?" She asked as we started walking at a steady pace.

"Well," I started, but was cut off by one of Kennedy's friends.

"Kennedy wait!" She ran up next to Kennedy and stood on the other side of her.

"Hey, could I walk home with you guys? I just don't want to get snatched," I had forgotten this girl's name but I knew why she felt unsafe after my encounter with Julia.

"Sure!" I immediately responded. Kennedy glared in her direction and then rolled her eyes when her friend didn't get the message.

Kennedy's friend was another interesting character, she looked like she could be the cheery version of Billie Eilish. She had two different colored eyes one green-blue and one gray-blue. She was 6'5" and had shoulder-length green hair with black stripes.

"I know I was just introduced to you guys, but I don't remember your name," I smiled nervously.

"Oh, I'm Catherine, but you can call me Cat, I'm sure Kennedy has told you much about how great I am," She smiled and winked at me.

"Yeah, no," Kennedy said as she distanced us from Cat.

"Actually, she hasn't told me much..." I admitted.

Cat gasped, "Kennedy, how could you?!!? And I've been your best friend for how long?" She continued rambling about how disappointed she was in Kennedy.

"I'm sorry," Kennedy whisper sang to me, so I heard it clearly in my head.

"For what?" I whisper sang back to her.

"She is always like this ya see, She will always be like this no matter how hard I try."

I laughed softly at Kennedy's response.

"I know I'm super funny, go ahead, laugh out loud at my pure hilariousness!"

Kennedy and I started laughing super hard out loud, having had our secret song conversation.

"Okay, I wasn't being that funny, so tell me, why were you guys laughing so much?" Cat continued to ask.

"N-nothing, you just said something that reminded us of a joke from earlier," Kennedy quickly explained.

"I guess I was being that funny, and just didn't know it!" Cat jumped victoriously.

"Wait," Kennedy started thinking, "This is a really dangerous neighborhood... Did you walk here by yourself?"

"Well, no," I thought about Julia again, "This very nice girl walked me to the park, but disappeared before you guys saw her," I answered honestly. I didn't want Kennedy to worry.

"She didn't happen to mention her name did she?" Kennedy asked.

"She said her name was Julia, she had one bad eye and one light hazel one, she was about 6'4", she had very bright and wavy violet hair. Why do you ask?" I remember an interesting character well.

"Wow, it's her..." Kennedy said, "I haven't seen her since she left the team, I wonder why she left..."

"She laughed when I told her where I was headed, she must remember the team fondly," I smiled at Kennedy.
