Chapter 41-42

             Chapter 41- M-M-Megan...

* A Week Later*

Connor's POV:

I sat in the waiting room of the hospital. I'm holding a sobbing Violet in my lap, she shouldn't be here for this. I hold her tightly letting her cry into my shoulder. After reality hit me like a ton of bricks, I start sobbing myself. Violet pulls back and wipes my tears, "It's ok daddy. Please don't cry." I look up at my puffy eyed daughter and smile weakly, " I know baby girl. Mommy's gonna be fine, I know she will. Do you know how I know that?" she wipes her tears and shakes her head. I smile and kiss her forehead, " It's because she's a survivor." Violet nods and hugs me tightly. God can this night get any worse?

Andrea's POV:

As soon as Connor called and told me what happened, I rushed to the hospital and saw him crying with Violet. I walk up to them and hug them both. " Connor. Let me take Violet, she shouldn't see you like this." he nods and I pick up Violet, she wraps her small arms around my neck and hugs me. " Wanna get some froyo kid?" she nods and then I take her to the cafeteria.

Kian's POV:

When I get to the hospital with Andrea, I go up to Connor and say quietly, " I'm so sorry Connor. How are you-" he cuts me off by gripping me into a bear hug and sobbing loudly into my shoulder. I hug him back and my eyes start to get glossy.  " I can't lose her Kian. I-I- I just can't. She's m-my everything. How c-c-could this h-happen." I shed a few stray tears and I say, " I know Connor. But everything will be fine, I know she'll pull through. Just keep faith." he nods into my shoulder and I say, " Want Taco Bell? You look like you haven't eaten for hours." he pulls back and wipes his tears, " Yes please and while you do that i'm gonna freshen up." I chuckle and hug him one more time then I leave.

Andrea's POV:

( 15 minutes later) Connor and Kian come into the cafeteria with Taco Bell. As we get our food, I look at Connor and say, " Connor can we talk out in the hall please." he nods and I say, " Be back guys! Don't you dare touch my burrito. And yes Kian that means you." Kian smiles and starts eating his taco. What a dork. I walk out of the cafeteria with Connor following, " Connor, this is gonna be hard to talk about but... What happened to Megan?"

Connor's POV:

I sigh and look at the floor then back at Andrea, " This morning, I got a call from the hospital telling me that Megan was here. She passed out and was rushed to the ER. Her cancer has gotten worse Andrea, It's gotten so worse that she's in a coma. It's been more than 10 hours since she went to the coma and she hasn't woken up. The doctor said she's not responding to the medication, but they'll keep trying. I can't lose her Andrea, not now or ever." she hugs me and says, " She's a survivor, she can beat cancer. I have faith in her." I nod and we go back to the cafeteria. I'm freaking starving.

             Chapter 42- Any News?

Ricky's POV:

As soon as the rest of O2L and I found out about Megan, we all rushed to the hospital. Connor was talking to Andrea and Kian until he saw us. I pull him into a hug and said, " Any news on Megan?" he shrugs and says, " Unless if you count her heartbeat normal as of now then yes." Well at least she's still breathing. " I'm sorry Con. This must be hard." he nods and wipes some tears away, " We're supposed to get married next Saturday. What happens if she doesn't make it Ricky. What happens from there?" I look to the floor and say nothing. I honestly have no idea on what will happen if Megan dies. I just know nothing will ever be the same.

Connor's POV:

( 10:00pm) Everyone decided to spend the night at the hospital with me and Violet. I smile down at Violet who was asleep in my arms. At least she's happy in her dreams, only if those dreams were reality. Andrea sits next to me and says, " Connor get some sleep, i'll take care of Violet. You need some rest." I debate to myself whether I should sleep or stay up all night in hopes that Megan would miraculously wake up, " Do I really have a choice?" she smiles and takes Violet from my arms, " Nope. Go to the couch and get some sleep, i'll take care of the little one." I groan and go to the couch. Megan please wake up... please.
