Jungkook POV

"Are you okay now, hyung?" I ask softly after he's finally calmed down. At this point, he's completely leaned into my side with my hand still gently rubbing small circles into his back. He stays silent but shrugs mildly in response.

"Do you wanna try and get some more sleep now?" I ask instead next, tilting my head down a bit as I look down at him. Surprisingly, I quite enjoy the position we're currently in, with him kinda curled up into my side and his head on my shoulder.

Though, he immediately shakes his head at my second question, causing me to frown a bit. Biting my lip, I try to think of something else if he doesn't want to sleep.

"Do you wanna talk about it, hyung?" I ask next, my voice quieter and softer than before in uncertainty. I don't want to make him angry again but I don't just wanna leave him like this either. He merely shrugs once again in response.

"Would you... prefer I just leave you alone for the evening instead? It's okay if you do, I'll understand." I question gently. He stays stationary for a little bit before shrugging once more.

"Hmm... Okay. Let me up, I'm gonna go do something real quick and then I'll be back. Alright?" I tell him.

I watch a small frown tug at his lips as he sits upright, not looking over at me. I give him a small smile though, ruffling his hair gently before standing up and exiting the room before he can scold me for having done so.

His hair is really soft...

I walk into the kitchen, pulling out two mugs and some other things. Smiling to myself lightly, I make us both a warm drink before heading to my room.

Stopping in my room, I set both cups down on my night stand before walking over to the end of my bed. My smile immediately falls as a memory plays through in my head, though I try to ignore it as I grab the blanket and walk back over to the drinks.

"NO!" I jolt awake at the sudden noise, looking around before realizing it's Jimin hyung. Pouting at the fact he's having a nightmare, I hurry into his room and begin shaking him awake.

As he jolts up, his eyes are wide before meeting my calm ones. He sighs in seeming relief, instantly wrapping his arms around me and pulling me into him as he uses me as a human teddy bear.

"Better now, hyung?" I ask gently as his hold on me finally eases up. He pouts but nods his head.

"Wanna go back to sleep now?" I ask curiously before he immediately starts shaking his head like crazy.

"Hell no. Not after that." He mutters with a frown.

"Want me to stay?" I ask next as he rests his head on my shoulder. He nods his head.

"Kookie?" He asks, sounding shy as he speaks after a few minutes.

"Yes, hyung?" I respond, a small smile on my face as I look down at him.

"Could you maybe... make us something to drink and maybe grab your fluffy blanket from the end of your bed please? It looks really warm..." He mumbles quietly. I chuckle but nod my head.

"Of course, hyung. Anything for you." I tell him with a smile before getting up to get us the things he'd requested.

Shaking the memory off, I toss the blanket over my shoulder and grab the mugs before heading back into Namjoon's room. He looks up at me tiredly with his tear stained face, a small look of confusion crossing his face as he spots me with the different items but not saying anything.

As I reach him, I hand him the mug before setting mine on his night stand. I then wrap the blanket over his shoulders, grabbing my mug and sitting down next to him again once that's done.

"Hot chocolate?" He questions, looking up from the mug in his hand to look at me with a tiny smile on his face. I smile back, nodding my head.

"I thought it might help ease your nerves a bit. Plus, I think hot chocolate tends to provide warm comfort when needed and can't find the right thing to provide that." I explain lightly, still smiling. Much to my surprise, his smile grows a little in return before he takes a sip.

"Also, if you want me to leave at any point, hyung, just tell me and I'll let you be." I tell him softly before taking a sip of my own joy chocolate. He frowns as he looks over at me but nods before the room falls silent for a bit.

Namjoon POV

"I'd rather write poems." I say after a little while of silence between us. By now I've finished about half of the hot chocolate that he'd made me. He looks over at me with a mixed look of curiosity and confusion, a small smile on his face as he tilts his head.

He really is so adorable and sweet. Jin hyung wasn't lying when he said that he was really kind...

"About earlier, I mean. I'd rather write poems than songs." I cough, running a hand through my hair as I avoid eye contact.

"Maybe we could get you into the journalism type of stuff then. I know that's technically what they call people who write stuff in newspapers and there's always a poetry section in them. I could talk to the college and get you enrolled for that, if you'd like?" He informs me, a small smile still on his face. I merely shrug in response.

"I mean you wouldn't have to deal with me constantly hanging around you as much. You'd be able to get a break from me in the days during the week at least." I respond, rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly. He frowns at my words though.

"Hyung, I don't mind having you around me all the time. I enjoy your company, even though I know you don't always enjoy having to tag along with everything I do." He informs me with a tiny smile, tilting his head to the side.

I frown at his words, looking back down at the mug in my hands. Sitting here silently for a moment, a question rises into my head.

"Jungkook, why are you so nice to me?" I ask, looking back up at him. He tilts his head once again, to the other side this time as he looks at me in confusion.

"What are you talking about hyung?" He asks, his voice sounding so sweetly innocent.

"I'm always cold to you, and rarely am I exactly per say kind to you. I've yet to be friendly or approachable towards you since you met me. Why the hell are you so kind to me?"
