"We must help her!"
It was just after King Tatilus had told the dreadful tale of The Blood Witch, aka Evanora Locasta, and the demon, Savhar, to Hiccup and how they were linked to Lily-Rae. Now, Hiccup had never been so worried for his troll friend, as she was secretly Evanora Locasta's spirit beneath her olive skin.
King Tatilus cringed at Hiccup's outburst. "I know you're her friend, young Hiccup," he began with a gentle tone, "and I know you'd want to do anything to help her. But this, is an extremely serious and dangerous situation. We must take extra caution."
"Okay, but why aren't we acting right now?"
"Because we need to plan our next search. We don't want more trolls being possessed - we've already had enough of that." Hiccup noticed the quiver and hesitation in King Tatilus's words, and instantly hooked on the fact that the King was too scared to plan another search.
His anxiety turned sour. "O-kay," he started slowly, "so when will this new search plan begin its process?"
King Tatilus shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. I'm still deciding when."
But Hiccup had enough excuses and rudely interrupted the King. "Oh I'm sorry," He began with an annoyed glare, "I never knew that an evil spirit possessing bodies could make you blush!"
Letting out quick gasps, all trolls stared at Hiccup with shock or anger for his rude outburst. Tzane felt a spark of fury flicker in his heart, and he stepped forward. "Excuse me! That's our King you're speaking to. I'd watch your mouth if I were you."
Instead of receiving an apology, Tzane was surprised to see Hiccup return with a cold glare, his eyes like ice. "And if I were you, I'd watch what slips outta your mouth - you don't wanna be squished like a bug, do you?"
Tzane immediately felt threatened, stepping back as a growing fear grew inside of him. "Young Hiccup," spoke the King, "there's no need to become so angry."
But this just triggered Hiccup's anger more. He snapped his head back and faced the King furiously. "Of course there is! While my friend is slowly deteriorating from that witch, all you're doing is sitting on your fat ass trying to look picture perfect!"
At the last cry, Hiccup slammed his hands down next to King Tatilus's throne. "Guards!" Cried Tzane, as he unsheathed his sword. At his cry, trolls dressed in amour ran into the throne room. Their spears glimmered in the fire's flame and their swords gleamed viciously. But their deadly appearance didn't scare Hiccup.
Instead, it made his anger grow.
"Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III! Please ease your anger and step away from the King calmly. If you fail to do so, we will open fire." Tzane ordered, his eyes flaring and his hands sweating against the sword's leather handle. He must have expected Hiccup to stand down, as he found himself quite surprised by Hiccup's cold stare and the fury burning brighter in his eyes.
Turning his head back to King Tatilus, Hiccup felt the venom drip from his words as hissed, "if you're not going to do anything, then I will." Before the King could reply, Hiccup began to walk away and with every footstep, the throne room shook and the flames flickered and swished in the air as Hiccup's giant figure past by.
"Fire!" Cried Tzane as Hiccup advanced closer and closer towards him with every step. Arrows painted red flew through the air like a swarm of bees. In defence, Hiccup raised his hands in front of his face to prevent any arrows blinding him, grunting and clenching his teeth whenever the tip of an arrow scratched across his skin. It wasn't the worse pain, but it wasn't a nice feeling. Some arrows bounced off his skin while others pierced it, blood filling the small splits and a few tails travelling down his stomach, arms and legs.
