When I saw Elizabeth walking down the stairs, I got excited. But I contained my excitement and played it off like everything was normal.

"Yo, Elizabeth!" I said and walked up to her.
To my surprise, she hugged me.
"Next time, don't be so reckless, Sir Meliodas." She said softly.
I hugged her back before releasing from the hug.
"Alright, lets start cleaning up and get ready to open!" I announced.

And with that, everyone got into their cleaning stations. Diane and Elizabeth began wiping tables, Ban and I cleaned dishes, King was just talking with Diane, and Gowther, Merlin and Escanor were out doing whatever it is the three of them do.

I kept glancing over at Elizabeth, who was smiling with Diane and King. She's so damn beautiful.
I have to protect her no matter what.
Elaine came floating in, which I found to be odd since she's usually at the Fairy King's Forest helping the other fairies rebuild.

"Elaine!" King exclaimed and embraced his sister in a hug.
"Hello, brother!" Elaine hugged him back.
"Elaine!" Ban said and kissed her.
"How sweet. Hello Miss Elaine!" Elizabeth said cheerfully.
"What's up, Elaine?" I greeted her.
"I thought i'd just visit everyone!" Elaine replied and hugged Elizabeth and Diane. Those three were practically best friends.

We had opened the tavern and customers began flooding in.
"Here's your steamy Boar Hat Tavern specialty, Sir!" Elizabeth cheered as she set down a bowl of soup.
"Thank you, sweetheart!" The man grabbed her waist.
I hopped over the counter and ran to Elizabeth.
"I'm gonna have to ask you to NOT touch my employees, especially Elizabeth." I threatened him.
"Otherwise, we're gonna have a problem here."
The man scoffed and started to drink ale and eat his soup.
"T-thank you, Sir Meliodas." Elizabeth smiled.
"Anything for you." I said and walked back behind the counter.
