The One When the Girl Falls for the Guy

Eliza and Alexander's wedding ceremony had just finished and all the guests headed to the where the party would be happening. Once the bride and the groom were finally done of greeting everyone, Eliza grabbed a drink and found her younger sister and bridesmaid close to the candies table eating the chocolate bonbons one after the other. Just the person Eliza wanted to talk to.

"Peggy!!" Eliza said full of joy for her big day.

"Hey, Lizzy!" Peggy says with the mouth stuff of chocolate.

"Peggy, manners please?" Eliza giggles as she cleans a bit of chocolate from her sister's mouth. Peggy smiles embarrassed "So, are you enjoying the party?"

"Oh yeah! You truly know how to choose sweeties because DAMN these are so good!"

"Always thinking in my sweet tooth sister" Eliza winks at Peggy and both of them giggle "But for real, are you having fun?"

"Uh, kinda?" Peggy says moving her shoulders uncomfortably and Eliza crosses her arms wanting an explanation "Look, I love you and I know it's your wedding day but you couldn't have chosen a bit prettier dress for the bridesmaids?"

Eliza laugh as Peggy scratches her back, the dress had tons of laces and it was pinning the girl's body everywhere. For her, it was the ugliest dress she ever saw in her life, but it made her sister happy, so Peggy swallowed her pride and got into that uncomfortable dress for the big day.

"Oh shut up Pegs you look great!" Eliza waves her hand, dismissing her sister's drama "Besides, think positive, tonight can be the day you finally find the ooone" She nudges Peggy's side grinning as the younger girl rolls her eyes and growls.

"Not this again Lizzy..." Peggy says unamused.

"What?" Eliza asks innocently.

"You trying to find someone for me! You're terrible at it!"

"No, I'm not!" Eliza places her hands in her hips.

"Oh yeah?" Peggy chuckles "And about that redhead guy that enjoyed to do puppet shows?"

"Well that one actually-"

"Or the one that wouldn't me let say a word and kept talking about how amazing his hunt trips were" Peggy cut Eliza's sentence.

"Yea that was a-"

"Or the British one that had a whole fleet of ships?"

"That one wasn't that bad though" Eliza says remembering the blonde guy.

"He had already divorced five times and had eight kids"

"Oh, right"

"Summarizing. You're the worst matchmaker, sis" Peggy concludes crossing her arms with an annoyed expression.

"Ok, I might have made a few mistakes in the past-" Eliza raise her free hand in redemption.

"A few?" Peggy exclaims.

"Oh shush! Anyway, there's this guy really I want to introduce you to tonight and I'm 150% sure you're gonna like him"

Peggy groans melancholically "Why don't you let me be alone like the universe seems to want to?"

"Geez Pegs you're such a drama queen" Eliza states and receive a look from her sister "He's very sweet, spontaneous, love my chocolate cookies-"

"Well, who doesn't?" Peggy chuckles and her sister smiles at the compliment as she keeps speaking.

"And also is fighting in the revolution... Oh! And the best part is that he is Alex's friend and he loves him"

"Well if Alex loves him so much, he can keep him then" Peggy says sharply.

"God, you're sounding like Angie now..." Eliza mumbles and then an idea popped in her mind "Ok let's make a deal, if you dump that one too I give up trying to find someone for you and I'll let you do it in your time"

"Deal" The younger Schuyler says with no hesitation, ready to dump another trashy suitor. She looks around the room trying to guess who would it be "Now where's mister too good to be true?"

Eliza points at her husband with a wide grin "Right there with Alex"

Peggy looks in that direction and her heart went boom when she layed her eyes in that man. He was kinda taller than Alexander and had tan skin sparkled by tons of freckles (Peggy's weakness), his super curly hair was pulled back in a low ponytail and Peggy couldn't stop but imagine how extremely curled their kid's hair would be if they ever made to that day. Once he looks in her direction she felt the urge to hide somewhere when met his green eyes.

She retreats and steps in her long skirt, ending up falling and making a loud noise. Eliza went after to help her sister who was as red as a tomato.

"Peggy, are alright?!"

"GodblessyoursoulLizzyheissohandsome" Peggy whisper-yell sounding like in trance.

Eliza whispers back giggling "And has freckles, I know they are your weakness"

"Indeed..." Peggy says getting even redder if that's possible.

Eliza straights up with a victorious look in her face "And what was that thing again about Alex keeping him?

"I'll fight that Gremlin to death if he tries to..."
