Love Story - Part 4

Stephan started his quest right after his father gave the consent. He asked many people where the Lees lived but none knew the answer or gave him wrong instructions.

"Excuse me miss" Stephan poke a blonde girl's shoulder and she turns around confused, her bangs almost covering her eyes "Can you tell me where the Lees house is, please?"

She examined Stephan's face for a moment before answering "You are Frances Laurens sibling, aren't you?"

He sighed and nodded.

For sure she won't tell me where the house is now that knows I'm a Laurens.

"I was wondering when she would show up" The girl says with a sad smile and Stephan frowns.

"You were expecting my sister?"

"Well... I'm a close friend of Alfred Lee and he told me what that happened between him and Frances. He's extremely broke but I still can't believe Frances risked so much in meeting him for so long to doesn't love him in the end. I was hoping for her to show up and fix things with him"

"But you see, she can't do that" The girl frowned confused as Stephan continued talking "Long story, but basically our father locked her in the room and want to send her away" She widened her eyes in horror "BUT I made a deal with him and if I bring Alfred to talk to him, he may let her stay"

"Well, let's go then!" The girl shouted and started to walk in the right direction, Stephan following her fast steps "By the way, my name is Violetta" She says giggling from forgetting to tell her name.

"Stephan" The boy replies with a nod and a shy smile.

Once they got to the front door Stephan froze.

I didn't think in that part of the plan. What am I even going to say?! "Hey! Alfred? I'm Frances' twin brother! I messed all up and because of that she couldn't make to meet you so now you have to confront our father you know, John Laurens, the one who shot your father in the past, to let her stay in America and maaaaybe allow you to court her"

But once the door opened the guy's expression made Stephan feel even worst. As Violetta said before, he indeed seemed broke. He furrowed his eyebrows as he glanced Stephan and the hurt expression turned into anger and the freckled boy just wanted to disappear before being murdered.

"What are you doing here?" He says in anger "Came to make fun of my face in person, Laurens?"

Stephan didn't get the guts to say anything. Instead, Violetta stepped in front of him and gave a kind smile to her friend.

"Al, please chill. He's here to make things up"

"I won't make more anything else with a Laurens" He hisses "And you can tell your sister that I hope she-"

"Well, I would actually like to ask for you to say it yourself once no one is allowed to talk to her anymore"

"Wha-What do you mean?" Alfred stutters and a worried expression takes place in his face.

...

"Get out" Frances says after hearing the door unlocking. She was laying on the bed with her back turned to the door for a few hours now.

It's not the time of any meal... What do they want now?

Whoever walked in didn't say a word or make a sound for a few minutes. Then the person sat at her bed and Frances turns around with an angry expression and shouts "You didn't get it yet?! I just want to be alone!"

"OH! Sorry, then I guess I'll just leave now, love" Alfred says dramatically.

Frances' eyes widened and she froze as he spoke to her. 

This can't be real...

He turns around to leave but she crawls on the bed after him and hugs the man who laughs of her action.

"NO! No no no no no no! Don't ever leave..."

He looks down at her as she also looks up at him with watering eyes. Alfred soft smiles after finally being allowed to be with the girl he loved.

"Not even if I wanted..."
