Chapter 8:

///Phoenixx's POV///

"MOMMY!!!" Zada screams as she splashes water on me. It's around 7:30 and I'm getting her ready for bed. Me and Connor normally put her to bed at 9 but she didn't get a nap today so I decided to put her down a little bit early. "What honey?" "I play with SS!" She screams throwing her arms in the air. SS is Sam , she can't say his name so she says SS. Sam is her favorite 'uncle.' She literally always wants to be with him. "No you need to go to bed. You can play with him tomorrow." I say as I pick her up and put her towel on her. "NO NOW!" "You can play with him tomorrow okay?" I say as I pick her up and carry her back to my room. I put her on my bed and put her pjs on. "NO!" She screams as she jumps off the bed. She then runs out of my room. "GOD DAMN IT ZADA!" I scream as I run after her. She runs towards Sam's room. "Zada Baylee Marie Franta don't you dare." I scream and she runs into his room. I walk into his room and he's holding her. "I'm guessing you're looking for her." He says as he goes to hand her to me but she refuses. "Zada go to your mom." "NO. I PLAY YOU!!" She screams and Sam looks at me. "Don't you even ask." "Come on Phoenixx. Let her play with me for 5 minutes." "Fine. 5 minutes. Bring her into my room when you're done." I say as I walk back into my room. "Aren't you missing somebody?" "She's playing with Sam for 5 minutes." I say as I lay down on my bed. "I remember when she was in your stomach." "She made me huge." I say laughing and then Sam comes into my room holding Zada who's passed out. "So she fell asleep." He says walking over to her crib. "She doesn't sleep in there." "Then why do you have it..." "For when you or anybody other than me and Connor put her to sleep. Now gimme her." I say and he hands her to me. He then leaves my room. I put Zada between me and Connor. I then cover us with the blanket. "She's so adorable while she's sleeping." Connor says as he kisses her cheek. "Don't wake her up of I'll chop of your balls." "Damn somebody's vagina is bleeding." Connor says and I hit his arm. "If she wakes up you're gonna deal with her." "She's a heavy sleepier like me." He says as and of course Zada wakes up crying. "She wasn't even asleep for an hour!!!" I whisper scream at Connor. "Jellybean, what's wrong." "MON MONS." She screams pointing to the closet. "I didn't wake her up ha! She had a nightmare." Connor says sticking out his tongue. "Zada there's no monsters in the closet." I say sitting up and grabbing her. "MON MONS!" She screams even louder. "Connor go open the closet and show her there's no monsters." I say and Connor gets up. "See look jellybean. No mon mons." He says opening the closet door. "I scared still." She says as she wraps her arms around. "It's okay jellybean. Mommy and daddy are here." Connor says as he takes her from me he then puts her between me and him. Zada then gets closer to Connor. "Pwotect me daddy." "I will jellybean." He says kissing her forehead. Zada closes her eyes. "I can't believe she thought there were monsters in the closet." "At least she fell back asleep." I say as I recover us and kiosks her cheeks. "Are we gonna sleep now or?" "I say we just stay here just in case she wakes up again." "I'm gonna sleep just in case she does." Connor says as he closes his eyes. "Talk to me you ass!" I say as I hit him awake. "I wanna sleep." "You know I have to talk before I go to sleep." "Call Alexis." "You're some boyfriend." "I'll make a deal with you. If you can get Jc to watch Zada tomorrow we'll go on a date." "YES!" "Now let me sleep." "Kiss me first." I say as I sit up. Connor sits up and kisses me. He then lags back down. I then grab my phone and call Alexis but she doesn't answer. I then call Michael, ever since I met them and became friends with them I became really good friends with him.

"Hello?"

"You answered!!!"

"Why wouldn't I?l

"Cuz Alexis didn't answer me."

"She's sleeping. She's out like a light."

"She sleeps way too much."

"I know. Did you sleep this much when you were pregnant."

"No, then again I only had one human pushing on my bladder. She has two."

"That's true."

Before I can say anything my pine dies. I put it in the charger and look over at Zada. She's still cuddled up to Connor. I lay back down and close my eyes.
