Chapter 28:

~Phoenixx's POV~

It's my wedding day. I should be excited but I'm not. I'm upset that my best friend isn't gonna be here. Worst of all, the fight we had. I basically told her I hoped her before would die. I wouldn't blame her for hating me. "Phoenixx you're suppose to be happy. It's your wedding day." Kali says as she walks over to my bed and sits on the edge. She stayed over at me and Connors last night so she could help with Zada. Connor stayed with my brother, we don't want to see each other until I walk down the aisle. "I know but i really want Alexis to come but I know she won't." "You don't know that Phoenixx." "Kali. I told her I hoped her boyfriend died." "Yes, but you didn't mean it." "I know but we haven't talked in days." "She's your best friend right?" "Yes." "Then she'll forgive you. Trust me." She says smiling and I smile back. "Okay." "Now come on let's go get our hair done." She says as she stands up from my bed. "Okay I'll go grab Zada. Meet you in the car." I say as I stand up and leave my room. I walk into Zada's room and she's sitting on her floor playing with her toys. "Come on Zada." "Where are we going?!" She screams in a high pitch scream. "To get our hair done." I say as I walk over to her and pick her up. "I CAN WALK!" She screams as she starts to kick. I put her down and she runs downstairs. I follow her and go to the car.

~Alexis' POV~

I wake up to the sun shinning through the blinds. I roll over and look over at the clock. It's 10:15. If I want to go see Luke before I go to surprise Phoenixx, I need to get ready. I get up and grab my maid of honor dress. I lay it on my bed and then walk to the bathroom. I then take a quick shower. Once I'm done, I dry off and put the dress on. I blow dry my hair. Only Kali, Lauren, and Connor know I'm coming and they promised to keep it a surprise. So I need to do my own hair. I then do a soft waterfall braid. I then curl the remaining pieces of hair. Once I'm done, I put my shoes on and walk into the twins room. When I walk in they're already up and dressed. They're also playing with Ashton. "Did you wake them up and dress them?" "Well I heard them screaming 'mommy.' But you were in the shower so." "Thank you, are you still gonna take me to see Luke then to the church?" "Yes, and are you bringing the twins to see him?" "I was thinking about it. Why?" "Well, they kept asking for him." Ashton says and my heart falls down to my stomach. "What do you mean..." "They kept going 'where daddy?' Over and over again." "What did you tell them?" "Nothing, I didn't know what to say." He says and I then walk over to the twins. "I'll meet you in the car. I'll be down there soon." "Okay." Ashton says as he leaves the twins room. I then bend down to the twins level and look at them. "Do you guys wanna go see daddy?" "YES!!!!!!!!!" They both scream as they jump up and down. "Okay, come on hold mommy's hand." I say standing up and they both grab my hands. We then leave their room. I help them walk downstairs and then go to the car. I then put them in their car seat and go to the front seat. "Did you tell them where Luke is?" Ashton whispers as he starts to drive. "No, I don't know how." "Well, they're probably gonna wonder why we're at a hospital." "Ashton. They're 1." "Yeah and? They can understand some things." "How am I suppose to explain that they're dad is in a coma?" "Think of something." "Ugh, fine." I say as I turn in my seat so I can see the twins. "When we go see daddy, you guys have to be careful." "WHY!" "Because daddy is in a coma." "What twat." "Daddy is basically taking a long nap." When wake?" "I don't know, but he's gonna wake up soon." I say smiling and they both start to giggle. "I'm pretty sure all what I just said went through one ear and out the other." "At least you told them." "Shit.. I hope the nurses let the twins see him." "Why wouldn't they?" Ashton says as we get to the hospital. "They're too young." "But they're his kids. They got to let them see him." He says as he parks the car. "I hope so." I say as I get out of the car and get the twins. We then walk into the hospital and go into the elevator. "Remember guys you need to be careful when you see daddy." I say and they both just start to giggle again. The elevator doors open and we walk towards his room. "Ashton try to get the nurses to let them back there." "Okay." "Stay with uncle AA." I say smiling as I walk to Luke's room. When I walk in my mom is sitting on the chair. "Mom, I bought the twins." I say as I walk over to to her and sit down next to her. "You did?" "Yeah, I wanted them to see Luke." "Where are they?" "They're with Ashton. He's trying to see if t-." I begin to say but I get cut off by the twins running into the room. The twins then run over to me. "DADDY!" "Remember guys you gotta be careful." I say as I look at my phone. Crap. I need to leave now. But the twins look so happy that they've finally seen Luke. "Mom will you do me a huge favor?" "Yes of course." "I have to go now but the twins look so happy. If I let them stay h-." "Yes I'll watch them." "Thank you." I say as I stand up and hug her. "I'll be back guys. Grandma is gonna watch you. Have fun with daddy." I say as I hug both of them. I then leave Luke's room and walk over to Ashton. "Where's the twins?" "They're gonna stay here. My mom is watching them for me." I say as we walk to the elevator. "Did they seem happy when they saw him?" "Yes. very happy." I say smiling as we exit the elevator and go back to the car. "Wouldn't it be amazing if he would to wake up while they're there." Ashton says as we get into the car and he starts to drive. "Don't get my hopes up." "Sorry." "It's fine." I say and we get to the church. "Thanks for driving me." "No problem, I'm gonna go back to the hospital. If he wakes up I'll call you." "Thanks." I say as I get out of the car and walk into the church. "You made it Alexis!" Kali screams as she runs over to me. "Yeah, I did. Where's Phoenixx?" "In that room." Kali says pointing to the direction of the room. "Thanks." I say as I walk towards the room. "I just wish Alexis was here Jc.." I hear Phoenixx say to Jc as I walk into the room. "Hi Phoenixx." I say smiling. Phoenixx turns around and runs towards me. She then hugs me tight. I'm so glad I came.
