Claiming What's Yours
You spotted Peter in the hallway, standing in front of his locker. With a smile you bounded up the hall, smiling at people who gave you looks of confusion. They were probably wondering why you were so happy and smiley seeing it was a Monday morning.
"Good morning boyfriend" You spoke into Peter's ear, pecking his cheek slightly causing the boy to begin blushing bright red. You guys had only been official for a couple of weeks but in reality you guys had been secretly dating months before.
"G-g-good morning" Peter stuttered out. You always found it adorable when he often got embarrassed due to your display of public affection. He didn't mind of course, just grew flustered because of the stares you both receive. He still wasn't sure how he had managed to convince you to go out with him, him of all people?
You were way out of his league and he knew it. You didn't care, immediately saying yes to the stuttering boy without hesitation. Deep down you knew you had liked him too, finding the way he flicked his hair or the way his eyebrows crunched in concentration as he worked peacefully. It had somehow managed to make your heart skip a beat.
"You okay?" You asked nervously, noticing Peter glancing around. You could feel everyone's stares on you but didn't care. You were proud to announce Peter as your boyfriend and were not afraid for the whole world to see it.
Peter glanced back towards you and nodded, a sheepish smile adoring his face. You smiled back up at him, beginning to lean in slowly. You heard the sharp in take of breath from Peter and smiled.
"Everyone's looking..." Peter had mumbled out, his eyes darting everywhere around you guys. You smiled at his dorkiness and lent in further, knowing Peter wouldn't be able to resist.
''Let 'em'' You replied sheepishly. You quickly connected your lips to his in a very brief yet sweet kiss. Pulling away with a smile you watch as his cheeks brighten up, a huge smile now covering his features.
Gosh he could kiss you every moment of every day if he could.
