Chapter 5- Wait- When did THIS happen??

Third person POV

Shortly after getting a lecture from Professor Goodwitch about trashing the cafeteria, RWBY found themselves back in their dorm. Weiss laying on her bed attempting to read an article in Dust Magazine while Blake sat on her bed attempting to read Ninjas of Love. Both Blake and Weiss's left eyes were twitching violently. On their respective beds Ruby and Yang were caught in a childish game of "Yes you do and no I don't".

"You totally like him."
"No I don't"
"Come one Rubes, I know doooo."
"No, I don't."
"You're blushing!"
"Am not!"
"You are toooo!"
"No I'm not!"

At this time Weiss pulls a nearby pillow over her head and covers her ears with it. Blake covers her face with her book and is pressing it against her face.

"He is cute isn't he?"
"No!"
"So he's not?"
"No, I mean yes, I mean-"
"Wonder how old he is..."
"It doesn't matter!"
"I wonder if likes me?"
"No! He doesn't like you he likes me!"
"So you like him then?"
"I-I-I- Arrrgghh!!!"

Ruby launches herself at Yang and they both fall to the ground in a tangle of limbs. Meanwhile Blake has curled up in a ball on her bed with both hands over her cat ears which are still covered by the bow. Weiss has also changed position with her torso hanging off the bed with tufts of her long white hair stuffed in her ears. Both Weiss and Blake's eyes resemble small dinner plates.

"You tricked me! You tricked me! You tricked me!"
"Ow Ruby! No kicking!"
"Stop saying I like him!"
"Oh yeah?"
"Wait-AAAAAHHHH!!!!"
"Say it! Say you like him!"
"Ahh ahaha! Never! Ahahaha!!!! Haha ahahaha!!!"

Suddenly there is a knock at the door which interrupts Yang's all out tickle massacre on Ruby. In unison Blake and Weiss say, "Finally!"

Blake opens the door to find team LOKE standing outside their door. "Hi," says a girl in blue tights, "We are looking for a open dorm room. We were told it was around here."

"Sure," Blake replies, "We will show you to it. Right?" She said that last part looking at Ruby and Yang on the floor.
"We are?" asked Ruby sheepishly.
"Yeah, sure. Let's do it!" Yang exclaimed.  She promptly picked up Ruby and slung her across her shoulder and walked out the door, followed by Weiss and Blake.

As Yang walked down the hall, Ruby saw from her vantage point on Yang's shoulder that the fox boy was nowhere to be seen.

"He's not here with us at the moment," said the white robed girl.
"Huh?" Ruby replied.
"Ehwaz, the fox boy. He is still with Professor Ozpin."
"Ozpin?"
"Yes, Ozpin kept him after we left to talk to him I assume."

"Hey, that's great Ruby! After we show these guys to their dorm we can go meet him personally!" Yang said enthusiastically.
"Why not now?" asked Weiss evilly. Ruby looked at Weiss with shocked eyes. "Yeah, we can show these guys the rest of the way," said Blake. Both were desperate to be rid Yang and Ruby for a while.
"Okay, see you guys later!" Yang shouted over her shoulder as she ran off with a broken looking Ruby dangling from her shoulders.

A few minutes later in a completely unsuspicious bush by the elevator...

"Yang, why are we doing this?" asked Ruby.
"Because you can make a new friend and this is great practice. Remember what happened with Weiss and Blake?"
"Yeah but-"

Ruby was cut off by the sound of the elevator making a cheerful ding and the doors opening.

Ruby and Yang watched the doors intently from the concealment of their unsuspicious bush. The boy Ehwaz seemingly nervous, slowly exited the elevator.

"Thank me later," Yang said suddenly. And with a good solid shove, pushed Ruby out of the bush.

Ehwaz's POV

As I step out of the elevator doors, a red blur suddenly appeared in front of me, and I instinctively reached for my guns.

I look down in shock as I see the girl named Ruby looking back up at me from the ground. Her eyes were wide and her face flushed with embarrassment. I relaxed and put on my best smile. I extended my hand to her to help her up.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
She nodded and took my hand and I gently helped her up.
"You're Ruby right? Ruby Rose?" I asked. 
I stared into her eyes and wondered what she was thinking.

Third person POV

Meanwhile, in Ruby's  mind....

Ruby's Right Brain (RRB): Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! He's looking at us!!

Ruby's Left Brain (RLB): What do we do?
RRB: I don't know, we never liked a boy before! Dating simulators don't prepare you for a real life situation like this!!
RLB: Okay, just remain calm.
RRB: I am calm!
RLB: Ok! Just say something. Anything.
RRB: Anything?
RLB: Anything!! Just say it with confidence.
RRB: Ok. Here it goes.

"You smell like cookies," said Ruby.

RLB: Nooooooooo!!!!
RRB: You said anything!!
RLB: Anything but that!!
RRB: Ok. Let's just play it off. Maybe he will think it's joke.

Ehwaz smiled and replied, "Yeah, I stole a bunch from Ozpin's office. You want one?"

RRB: He's asking us if we want cookies!! What do I do?
RLB: Say yes!
RRB: Are you sure?
RLB: No!!

"Sure," replied Ruby, "Thank you." Ruby took a cookie and shyly bit into it.

"Hey, if you are not busy," said Ehwaz, "Would you mind showing me where my team might have went?"

Ruby looked over her shoulder to see Yang popping out of the bush with her thumbs up.

"Sure," Ruby said shyly and she led the way with Ehwaz walking beside her.
