Third person POV

"Thank you Ehwaz," Ozpin said, "You can go now."
"Thanks for listening," Ehwaz said as he turned to the elevator and left.

Ozpin waited until the elevator doors had closed before saying, "This is much worse than we thought."

"What is it?" asked Ironwood.

Ozpin rubbed his eyes, "If Ehwaz's dream is indeed prophetic, then the Fall of Beacon is much closer than we thought. We need to prepare."

"Ozpin, who is Ehwaz? How did he know about this?" Ironwood questioned.

Goodwitch and Ozpin glanced at each other.

Ozpin sighed, "Ehwaz and his team are our future."

"What do you mean?"

"Ehwaz and his team have elemental powers that are a bit of magic from the old world," Ozpin explained, "If the plan to find and keep the maidens safe fails, then team LOKE will be needed to capture or kill a rogue maiden. Their elemental powers are all that stand a chance against a maiden."

Ironwood looked dumbstruck, "How long have you planned this?"

Ozpin got up and looked out the window, "Not long enough."

Ehwaz's POV

I was returning to my dorm when a black haired girl came around the corner and ran into me. She almost fell over but I grabbed her by the arm and pulled her up catching her by the waist. She looked up into my eyes as her hair fell back and my heart raced. It was her. The amber eyed woman. She had a surprised and almost panicked look in her face, then she slightly blushed. I looked down and I realized that I was holding her a little to close, close enough for her breasts to be pressed into my chest.

I was about to step out of it and leave when I realized, maybe I could get some info out of her, and have a little fun too. So I turned the charm up to max and said, "Hey, I like the look and everything, but you look very familiar. Have I threatened you before?"

Her panic turned to aggression and she shoved me back and took on a defensive position. She was wearing bandaging around her chest and hands and wore green pants and short brown leather vest.

"Relax," I said as I held out my hands at my side, "I'm not wanting any trouble, unless you want it."

Her eyes narrowed and the coldness returned that I had saw before. "Who do you think you are?" she said threateningly.

"Who do you think you are?" I retaliated, "You broke into the CCT last night didn't you? Normally I would assume it was some late night call, but in a stylish masquerade outfit? I think not."

She seemed taken aback by that flippant remark, and her posture lessened for a moment, as if no one had ever spoken like that to her before. Then she swung her leg at me. I dodged easily enough, and then she threw a punch at me, at which I grabbed her arm and spun her around and into my arms. I held her there as she fought but I had her arms pinned.

She stopped fighting long enough for me to whisper into her ear, "I don't want to fight you, I just want to know what your up to, and if I can be in on it."

She stopped fighting completely and looked into my eyes. I had her attention now, all I needed was to gain some trust. "You want to know about me don't you? That's why Emerald and Mercury have been tailing me huh?" She only answered with a blank stare, no longer cold, more curious.

"I find it only fair," I said with a grin, "That I should know more about you the more you know me, don't you agree?" She looked at me with open curiosity and said, "What do you want to know?"

To easy. "I want to know," I said, "If you are free before tournament." And with that I let her go and walked on to my dorm, but not before calling over my shoulder, "See you soon, Cinder." To be honest I was just guessing her name, but the slight gasp behind me told me I was right on the mark.

Third Person POV

Cinder watched as Ehwaz walked down the hallway. Her cheeks felt red and hot. "A curious boy," she thought, "I wonder if he meant it." She shook her head and turned to walk down the hall, her thoughts still whirling. But they would have to wait, she had to get ready for her "mission".

Ehwaz's POV

Me and my team had already been assigned a mission by Ozpin himself. We found out the moment we walked into the mission room, when he walked up to us.

"You are to be assigned with the Ranger Baron," Ozpin said, "He is a huntsman in the forests of Vale, and I think you will benefit most from him."

"But aren't we supposed to choose our mission?" asked Lena.

Ozpin smiled sternly and repeated, "I think you will benefit most from him. He will be waiting with an airship at dock 12, you are going nearby Mt. Glenn. I suggest you get ready."

He walked past me and winked, just as Ruby ran up to me and hugged me. She looked up at me and said, "You're going to Mt. Glenn to?!"

"To?" I asked.

"Yeah, my team is going into the city part. Maybe we'll run into each other!" She said enthusiastically.

"I rather doubt it," said Oris from behind her, "Missions aren't supposed to overlap with other Huntsman's missions otherwise there would be chaos if they got in each other's way."

Ruby looked downcast, but perked right back up. "Oh well," she said with her cute little smile, "It's a possibility." Then she reached up and pecked me on the lips. Oris groaned.

"Anyway, we got to go. See ya!" She said as she pulled away from me and ran after her team.

"We better get going to,"said Kuana. They all walked past me, Oris last, bumped me with her shoulder hard. I rubbed my shoulder and followed them to dock 12.
