Chapter 8- Red Vs. White (Not a ship. Not a ship!!)

Ehwaz's POV

I woke up early the next morning and got ready as quietly as possible. I put on my Star Breakers, and a stylish wide brimmed hat that I found in one of the drawers.

By the way, if you're wondering what happened last night when I got back, I have a story to tell you. When I got back in my dorm last night and I was immediately slammed by an hour long rant by Lena about how it is not nice to hang your teammates by a tree and leave them there. Apparently Oris had stayed conscious long enough for Lena and Kuana came back, where they found her muttering in the tree, still upside down, about a perverted crow.

I looked over to Oris. She was asleep in her bed, and actually looked kinda cute. I'm not kidding myself though, she is to big of a pain for me to ever like.

I snuck out the window and climbed onto the nearest branch. I didn't use the door because it would be to loud. I climbed my way over to the window I was sure was team RWBY's. I saw two other guys also in the tree. It was Sun and Neptune.

What did they think they were doing looking into the girl's window like that? What if the girls were dressing? Then again, I was on my way to the window myself, so I can't really say anything. I snuck up behind Sun who was intently watching the window. I looked in myself and saw the girls talking while....just finishing dressing up....

Third person POV

Ruby just finished tightening up her boot laces before saying, "Okay, everyone remember their roles?"
Weiss, finishing buttoning up her coat, said, "You and I will head to the CCT and check the Schnee records for any other Dust robberies or inconsistencies."
"The White Fang holds regular faction meetings to hand out new orders and recruit new members," said Blake, pulling her shirt up to hide her cleavage, "If I get in, I can find out what they are planing."
"And I have a friend in the shady side of town who know typically everything going on in Vale," said Yang, pulling her shirt down to show her cleavage, "Getting information from him won't be to hard."

"Great!" exclaimed Ruby, "We'll meet up near Yang later and go over what we found! Let's do this!"

At that moment Sun crashed through the window and landed spread eagle on the floor in front of the girls.

Ehwaz's POV

The fact that Sun was watching the girls getting dressed wasn't what bothered me. Neither was the fact that he brought his friend along either. It was the fact that he was watching the girls get dressed with his friend and recording it that bothered me!

I grabbed the tree branch above my head and swung forward. Planting both feet on Sun's back, I kicked him and sent him sprawling through the window, and into the room where all the girls exclaimed in unison, "Sun!!!!"

I stepped I from the window and snatched up his scroll while saying, "He was watching you change with this."
I pulled up the video and showed it to them while Sun recovered. He just got up into a kneeling position when Yang slammed her fist into the side of his face and sent him into the wall.
"You pervert!" she shouted.
"It's not just him," I said, "Neptune is out there too."

All the girls ran over to the window and leaned out. Sure enough, there was Neptune. balanced on the ledge next to the window. He put on his most charming smile and said, "Sup."

The girls pulled him in and set him next to Sun. Then they turned to me.
"And what are you doing here?" asked Weiss.
"I climbing up the tree to come with you guys. I heard your plan last night and I wanted to come," I said.

"We did too!" said Sun and Neptune together.

We all looked at them.
"We uh...heh, just arrived a bit earlier," said Neptune. He then pointed to Sun, "It was his idea."

"Anyway," said Ruby, "We can't let you guys come. We don't want to get friends involved if we don't have to."
"Are you kidding?" Sun asked incredulously, "Of course you get your friends involved. Besides, we aren't taking no for an answer."

"Alright," said Ruby, "In that case, Sun, you go with Blake. Neptune, you go with Yang, and Ehwaz-"
"I wanna go with Neptune!" whined Weiss.
"Don't worry Weiss," said Ruby, "You're coming with Ehwaz and me."
"But! But!" Weiss cried while Ruby dragged her out the door.
I picked up my hat and followed awkwardly after them.

We walked to the train station and caught a train to the CCT (I swear, these trains go EVERYWHERE).

As we rode on the train listening to some distorted music on the train speakers, I started to think back to my talk with Ozpin. How did he know so much about me? I know Artaq and him are good friends, but it just slightly unsettled me. He knew I had no family, and therefore no last name, but knowing about the knife and my guns.....

"Hey Ehwaz," Ruby suddenly asked, "How old are you?"
I looked at her, slightly bewildered. "Fifteen," I said.

Once again, I looked Ruby in her big, adorable, Silver Eyes, and wondered what she was thinking.

Third person POV

Back in Ruby Land...

RRB: Did you hear that? He said fifteen!
RLB: Oh my God! That's our age!
RRB: What do I say?
RLB: Anything!
RRB: Are you sure this time?
RLB: Yes! There is no way you can mess this up!

"You're cute for your age," Ruby said.

Weiss giggled and Ehwaz's face turned red.

RLB: Nooooooooooo!
RRB: What?
RLB: Why did you say that?!
RRB: I thought was okay!
RLB: You just don't say that!
RRB: I'm sorry! Stop yelling at me!!

Ehwaz's POV

Ruby's words shocked me. I felt heat rising into my face. Weiss began giggling uncontrollably on the other side of Ruby, which didn't help the case either.

Ruby herself looked at me with a mortified expression, as if just realizing the words that came out of her mouth.

I smiled and shook off my embarrassment. I looked at Ruby and said, "So are you. Well, I mean you would be cute even if you were older. Not saying you're old. I just mean...."
I stopped when Weiss began full out laughing.

Ruby, who's cheeks were as red as an apple's, turned and tackled Weiss. Both began wrestling on the floor, each saying stuff like:

"Shut up shut up shut up!!!"
"Ow! But you're so adorable!"
"Shut up!!!"
"Never! Ow! Yang was right!"
"No! Shut up!"
"You are totally into him!!"
"Aaaaarrggghhh!"
"Ow! Oof! Gah!"

I put on my hat and pulled it down over my face and then crossed my arms and slouched in my seat. This was going to be a long ride.
