What I meant by the longest train ride, is that the ten minute long commute felt like thirty minutes. When the train stopped, the doors opened and many citizens of Vale saw what appeared to be two Beacon Academy huntresses in a brawling fight to the death on the floor of the train.

Weiss and Ruby looked up and saw multiple people staring at them. They both quickly got up and dust themselves of before smiling nervously and exiting the train. I of course followed awkwardly, hat still pulled over my face.

We walked up to the CCT were both mine and Ruby's jaw dropped.
"Oh! I'm so excited! We're at the CCT!" Ruby exclaimed joyously
"We easily could have made a call from the school, but Ruby really wanted to come here," Weiss whispered to me.
"Oh! I gotta take a picture!" Ruby said and pulled out her scroll, fumbling with it, and then dropping it.

It landed at the feet of some girl and I went to get it. "Sorry about that," I said kneeling to pick it up. I reached for the scroll when my hand collided with a girl's hand. I looked up and saw a girl with bright green eyes, she stared back at me for a few moments before picking up Ruby's scroll and handing it to me. "Your girlfriend dropped this," she said.

I took the scroll and stood up with her, and I dumbly said, "Thanks."
Her features were perfect. To perfect. Every curve and  bump was perfect. Who was this girl?
The night from the dock flashed before my eyes. She was the ginger haired girl.

"Penny!" Ruby suddenly yelled. She ran over and said, "What happened to you?! We were so worried!"
"I'm sorry, I don't know you," Penny said and walked off, Ruby following her.
"Hey," said Weiss as I ran after Ruby.
"We'll catch up to you later," I called over my shoulder.

Ruby continued to question Penny, "Penny, I need you to tell me what happened that night at the docks! If something happened you need to tell me!"
Penny stopped and looked around before whispering to Ruby and me, "We need to go somewhere private."

She led us down an alley way that then opened up to a street lined with shops.
She looked around once more and relaxed.

"Ruby, I appreciate your concern, but nothing happened to me that night," Penny said reassuringly.
"So why did you bring us here?" I asked.
Penny smiled, "So my father wouldn't see you."
She began walking down the street and we followed.
"You see, my father worries about me. I'm the only daughter he has ever had. He just doesn't want anything to happen to me."

We turned a corner and saw a huge stage set up and a huge crowd in front of it. A man in white military clothing stood at the head of the stage, six robotic soldiers stood behind him.

"The AK130 has been the standard security model of Remnant for several years," he said, "And they have done a fine job, wouldn't you agree?" The audience applauded at this.

"But Atlas is a city of innovation," he continued, "And fine, well that's just not good enough is it?"
The six robots kneeled and the doors behind them roles up, exposing newer and shiner white robots.
"Presenting, the Atlesian Knight!" said the man. The robots stepped out and placed one foot on top of the older models and crushed them beneath their feet. The crowd erupted in applause.
"Smarter, sleeker, and admittedly, a little less scary," the man continued, the robots behind him flexing comically, "These models will become active later this year, but they won't be alone! The Altesian Military has always supported the idea of removing men from the dangers of the battle field. However, there are still many situations that undoubtedly require, a human touch. So, our kingdom's greatest minds, in cooperation with the Schnee Dust Company are proud to introduce, the Atlas Paladin!"

A hollow graphic image of a large robot with large guns and canons on every free bit of space there was on it. There was a cockpit in the center large enough for one man to fit in it.

"Now, we couldn't have them here for you today," continued the man, "But these mechanized battle suits will be seen defending the borders of our kingdoms within the year!"

"Whoa," Ruby said next to me.
"Ruby," Penny said nervously, "Maybe we should go somewhere else...."
I looked at Penny. She looked nervous and even afraid. Something about the robots or the man was bothering her.

"There!"

I turned and saw two soldiers that were standing by the stage start running towards us. Penny wasted no time running off.

"Penny? Where are you going?!" Ruby called after her.
I looked back at the soldiers running towards us, and then back to Ruby. But Ruby was already after Penny.

I naturally ran after her. A car nearly hit me, but I rolled over the top and kept running.

I followed Penny and Ruby down an alleyway, across another street, and into another alleyway. I looked behind me saw the soldiers were still behind us. I used my gun to blast off a leg of a table holding up a bunch of boxes. I looked behind me and smiled. That should slow them down.

I saw Ruby grab Penny and use her speed semblance to pull her down another alley. I turned the corner just in time to see Ruby falter, drop Penny, and then tumble into the road.

I saw a truck coming and Penny running into the road to get Ruby. I looked around for anything I could use. I saw a pile of trash bags. Why not?

I used my semblance to send the trash bag at Ruby, knocking her out of the way of the truck.
Penny stood in front of the truck at that exact second with her arms out and stopped the truck dead. I saw her feet dig into the pavement and crack it.

Penny looked up at the driver, an old man who looked close to having a heart attack. "Are you okay?" she asked. The driver barely nodded in reply.

Penny looked at me and then to Ruby. Then she took off down the street. Ruby and I fought our way through a crowd that was gathering around the truck, and gave chase once again.

She turned down another alleyway.
"Penny!" I yelled, nearly out of breath, "Stop running!"
Penny stopped running and me and Ruby finally caught up to her.

"Penny, please. What is going on? Why are you running? Who are those people?" Ruby asked Penny.

I wheezed. How were neither of these girls out of breath?

Penny looked at Ruby and asked, "You're my friend right? You promise you're my friend?"
Ruby looked taken aback. "Yes."

Penny took a step back and showed us her hands. Parts of the skin were scratched off, but instead of raw bone beneath, there was metal.

"I'm not a real girl," Penny said.
