After we finished playing games in the library, we all were back at the dorms.

"We never should have played that game!" complained Yang.
"You're just mad cause everyone beat you," Ruby said with a smile.
"I still lost," Weiss whined.

They entered their dorm while I stood awkwardly in the doorway, unsure of what to do next. Blake got up from her bed and came towards the door. I took that as my cue to leave. I was leaving, Blake right behind me when we both heard "Stop."

Both Blake and I suddenly stopped, I turned to see Ruby and Weiss pointing at me and Blake.

"Where do you think you are going?" asked Ruby.
I looked between Ruby and Weiss, "To my room?"
"Not you," said Weiss.
"Actually, I was talking to him," Ruby whispered.
Weiss ignored her, "You have been quiet, anti-social, and moody lately. Which I get, is kind of your 'thing', but you have been doing it more than usual, which quite frankly, is unacceptable."

I looked over at Blake, who had her head down. What was wrong?

Weiss continued, "You made a promise to me, to all of us, that you would let us know is something was wrong."

Blake looked up at this.

"So Blake Belladonna!" Weiss suddenly shouted, "What! Is! Wrong!?"

While she said this, Weiss did a flip and landed on a chair, pointed at Blake and tilted precariously in front of her.
Blake glanced at me and then back to the finger in front of her nose.

Weiss quickly got off the chair and put it back at the desk.

Blake hung her head, sighed and then said, "I just, don't understand why how everyone can be so calm."
"Your still thinking about Torchwick," said Ruby.
"Torchwick, the White Fang, all of it," Blake said, "Something big is happening, and no one is doing anything about it!"

"Ozpin told us not to worry," Yang reassured her, "Between the police and Huntsmen, I'm sure they can handle it."
"Well I'm not!" Blake cried, "They don't know the White Fang like I do."

All the girls went silent. I took this opportunity to sneak into the hallway just out of sight.

"Okay," said Weiss, "Between blowing up night clubs, stopping thieves, and fighting for freedom, I'm sure the three of you think you're ready to go out and apprehend these ne'er-do-wells."
"Uh...who?" asked Ruby.
"But let me be once again be the voice of reason," Weiss continued, still ignoring Ruby, "We are students. And we are not ready to handle a situation like this."
"Well, yeah, but-" Ruby began.
"We are not ready!" said Weiss, getting in Ruby's face.

For a second, Weiss reminded me of my father, and anger flooded my body. Only for a second though.

"We may never be ready!" cried Blake, "Our enemies aren't just going sit around and wait for graduation day! There out there somewhere, planning their next move, and none of us know what it is, but it's coming! Whether we are ready or not."

Silence.

"Okay," said Ruby, "All in favor of becoming the youngest huntresses to single-handedly bring down a corrupt organization conspiring against the kingdom of Vale, say 'Aye'.

I suddenly remembered I still had Ruby's game. I set it down gently by the door and turned to run down the hall. If they were planning to leave tomorrow, I had to be ready to go with them.

I made it a few steps before I crashed into a group of people. I immediately got up and helped a green haired girl off the floor. "Sorry about that," I apologized.
"It's okay," she replied, "Just watch where you are going."
I observed her and her companions. She had green hair in a bob style with two tail -like strands coming out of the back. Her eyes were a bright red.
The guy who was with her had silver hair and had a smirk that made his face look very punchable.
The other girl had long black hair that covered her left eye. Her eye that was visible, was a gleaming amber color that seemed to burn.
They all wore Haven uniforms.

"So, your from Haven. You're here for the Festival?" I asked.
"Yes," replied the amber eyed woman, "We were just looking
around."

I was immediately put off by the way she spoke, her voice was cold, cruel, and calculating

I was immediately put off by the way she spoke, her voice was cold, cruel, and calculating.
Her presence felt dangerous. I might need to keep an eye on her.

"Well, it's getting late," I said, "You should be getting back to your dorms."
"We were just on our way there," smirked the silver haired dude. His face looked somehow more punchable.

I smiled politely and ran past them to the nearest door, I didn't want to be alone with them for much longer.

Third person POV

Cinder watched as the fox Faunus ran down the hall and into the nearest door, which since he exited a moment later, was probably a broom closet.

"Um, Cinder?" asked Emerald.
Cinder ignored Emerald and continued to stare after the fox boy.
"He has both a tail and ears," Cinder thought, "The last Faunus like that did great things. Terrible, but great things."

"Uh... Cinder?" Emerald asked once again. Cinder turned back to her henchmen.
"Will he be a problem?" Mercury asked.
Cinder smiled coldly, "No. In fact, he may be just what we have been looking for."
"Mercury," she said turning towards him, "Find out everything you can about him. Name, school records, family, birthdate, everything. We want to know as much about him as possible."
She then turned to Emerald. "Emerald," she said, "Want you to get close to our little friend. Make him trust you. We will need his trust in the weeks to come."
"Yes ma'am," Emerald and Mercury said in unison.
Cinder then turned and walked down the hallway, a plan already forming in her mind. "This is going to be fun," she said with cruel smile. Emerald and Mercury looked at each other uncertainty before following.
