"I'm twenty three years old, don't you think I have a say where I want to spend the night by now?" She asked as she rested her head against the window, staring at me as we sat outside her house.

"Of course... but come on, let's be respectful. I know your parent's already love me, but I'm sure they want to visit with you as well. Don't you think you should as well?" I asked as I too leaned against the car door window. She shrugged her shoulders as she rolled her neck. "Come on." I laughed as I opened the car door. The moment I stood up, I could feel a sharp pain shoot through my head. I stood there for a second, blinking my eyes as I tried to get it to go away. Just like that, it vanished. I shook my head as I turned to see Jessica looking at me strangely. Once again though, the pain came rushing at me full force; as if I had been tackled by a line backer.
To the floor I fell, still not understanding where this unbelievable pain came from.

"Babe... are you alright?" She asked as she rushed next to me, holding me up as I blinked, my vision going blurry...

"Jessica... something's wrong..." I said as I tried to focus my vision on her. I could see her pull her cell phone out, voices ringing in my head. I covered my ears, wanting the voices to go away. I shut my eyes and screamed, as the pain over took my senses. I hit the hard ground and continued to scream. I could feel Jessica holding me still, more voices rushing into my brain.

"Deanney!..." Jessica's voice was fading... I couldn't be anymore confused now as more pain shot through my entire body now. "Jess..!"

I opened my eyes and shot up. I was blinded by a bright white light. Pain traveled from my right leg and into my skull. I closed my eyes, covering them as I tried to get the agonizing migraine to vanish.

"Deanney...?" I could hear a tired voice to my right. I put my hands down and aimed my head in the direction. I didn't dare open my eyes though, for fear the pain would skyrocket once again.

"Mom...?" I asked in a hurried voice. I could feel her arms wrap around me tightly, making it seem they didn't want me to breathe. I still didn't open my eyes as I let my ears explain the sounds in the background... I could hear rapid beating of some sort of machine, and voices talking in the far background, as if on a speaker. "Mom...?" I asked again.

"Oh Deanney... you're finally awake..." I could tell she was crying and that she was exhausted. 'Finally awake...?'

"What do you mean?" I asked, still not opening my eyes.

"Honey... you've been passed out for a week... you're in the hospital. Don't you remember the horrible car crash you were in?" She asked in a curious voice. That's when I opened my eyes, ignoring the throbbing pain in my eyes and head. Around me I could see all the medical equipment, my mother getting up and rushing to the hospital room's door. "Alexis! Coldie! Come here quick! She's finally awake!" I sat there in a dull panic as I looked at my body. I looked extremely pale, bruises and cuts everywhere. However, when I tried to move to get out of bed, a stabbing pain went up through my right leg. My mom turned around when I screamed, rushing to my bed side. "Honey... you can't move right away, let the doctor look you over first okay?"

"Mom... what the fuck is going on?" I demanded when I noticed Alexis and Coldie run in, standing next to my bed. "Where is Jessica?" I asked, begging for an answer. The three of them looked at each other, rather confused. "Can someone fucking answer me instead of looking at me like that?"

"Deanney... what are you talking about?" Alexis asked as she moved closer, grabbing my hand. I noticed a Doctor and a nurse followed in, rushing to my monitors to check on my vitals.

"What do you mean what am I talking about? She was... she's visiting... we're back together. Did we get in a wreck when I drove her home?" My mom had a confused face as she looked at Alexis who was not only blushing but had a tear streaming down her cheek. I noticed Coldie hold her shoulders, rubbing them.

"Deanney... she's not here... Jessica is still in New York City that we know of... she hasn't been back here in over three years..."
