PoV: Sonic
"Hey Sonic," Silver held a bag of crawfish in front of me, "these just came in fresh. I picked out the healthiest ones before the sale sold them off. Interested?"
"These would be perfect for the cold," I took them from him, "I can make a nice soup with these, or maybe even mushroom creamed pasta."
"That sounds delicious, your roommates sure are lucky to have such a wonderful cook," Silver said helping reach the juice off the high self.
"I could write the recipe down for you if you like," I offered.
"Knowing my skills, I'd probably destroy my kitchen. I'll stick to bento and cup noodles. And pizza too," said, pointing to the frozen pizzas.
"I wouldn't mind cooking for you then," I said, picking a bag of peas, "I'll bring it for your lunch tomorrow if you like?"
"I'd like that, but only if you have time," He answered.
"I'll bring it to you next time I shop."
"You all done?" He asked.
"Yeah, that's everything I need," I said, taking the heavy whipping cream for the saute.
"I'll check you out," he lead me to an empty isle and I got my wallet.
"How much is it?" I asked?
"$204.53 with tax," he said.
"The sale really saved a lot," I paid him.
"Hey, how come you aren't buying the coconut water like anymore?" He asked, handing me my bags.
"I had to cut back on the things I usually get to get Rouge and Shadow what they like," I replied, "I don't mind, it just makes things that I like more special. Thanks for the crawfish, I'll bring you lunch as soon as I can."
I left and walked back home. Shadow and Rouge were home.
"How late did I... stay out," the clock read eleven thirty, "Welcome home?"
"Sorry sweetie, we wanted to surprise you," Rouge hugged me.
"They let us out early because we got all our work done early," Shadow explained, "how's your back."
"Oh it still feels like it did when I woke up the other day," my back had felt nice all week thanks to Shadow's massage.
"Do you shop every Wednesday?" Rouge asked.
"I have to, or we'd run out of food pretty quickly," I answered, "I like Wednesdays because the shops are empty."
"I never knew that," Rouge pinched my cheek and let me go.
"Stop tormenting him," Shadow responded.
"I'm just gonna put this away," I started packing up.

I cleaned up after lunch and laid down in bed. It felt nice to just do nothing for a change.
"You feeling okay?" Rouge came in.
"Yeah, I just needed to rest for a moment," I started getting up.
"You've been so helpful. I want to reward you," she was over me.
"U-um... Rouge... what are you doing?"
"Hmm..."
"Ah!" She grabbed me.
"Say it," she whispered.
"S-say what?"
"You know what it is."
"I-it's alrigh-"
"Should I spoil you some other way?"
"Ee!" I felt her hand slide up my lap, "N-No Rouge... you don't have to," I I got myself free and jumped out of bed, I'm alright. I'll start dinner."
"Sonic, it's three in the afternoon."
"Aah!" She pulled me against her.
"It's too early for diner," she kissed my nose, "I wouldn't do more than kiss you."
"... huh?" I stopped pushing away.
"I like feeling your fur, of course," her hand slipped under my shirt and up my back, "It too soft to resist."
"Eh?"
"My cutie," she kissed me, put me back down on my bed and left.
I don't get it... What just happened?
