PoV: Shadow

"About your mission this week," Commander Tower stated, "I've been able to narrow it down to three days, but on one condition."

"What condition?" I growled.

"You'll have a third companion with you," he answered, "So, will you take the full week? Or cut it down to three days?"

"We'll take the three days," Rouge answered before I could say anything.

"What are you doing? I don't want to deal with a third idiot," I snapped.

"You're going to regret that comment Shadow," Commander Tower interrupted.

"Excuse me?" I snarled.

"Follow me," he led us out, "You two are going to be working with a professional. He retired now, but still keeps up his training in secret. I think you already know him. He will meet you at this location."

  I was handed a sheet with coordinates.

"So we're working with some old guy. How fun..." Rouge took the page from me.

"I think that's enough for today," he left, "You're meet up time is at 20:00."

  We had an hour to eat and get ready.

"I'll call Sonic and let him know we're going out to eat," Rouge said, "We should get ready. There're supposed to be armed enemies this time."

"When has a gun ever hurt me?" I said, putting the page in my pocket.

"Put put on the armor and let's go," Rouge dialed her phone, "Hello Sonic, we're going to eat out tonight so there's no need to cook dinner... Yes, we're leaving in an hour... We'll see you in three days. Bye bye."

"You talk to him like a child," I rolled my eyes.

  Rouge ate two burgers and I got myself ready. I put on the annoying bullet proof vest and pants. The stuff was a bit bulkey, but it never interupted my work. Rouge got dressed in a similar uniform.
                                                                        
                                                                        
--- One Hour Later ---

"Do you honestly need to do your makeup? This is a mission," I said.

"I want to look nice for myself. There's no problem with that," she said, applying her mascara.

"What ever. You ready?" I asked.

"One more second... done! Let's go," she grabbed my arm.

"Chaos Control," took us to the coordinates written down.

"So, where's this old guy we're supposed work with?" She asked.

  I felt the wind gush, "The report said nothing about wind."

"What do you think it is?" She walked a bit forward.

  A blue streak when by at an insane speed.

"What was that?!"

"Hey!" It circled us and stopped.
