PoV: Sonic

"Its... be a while since we did it... that way," I laughed as Shadow put me down.

  We just had some adult time. Mostly with Shadow moving me on his lap.

"Let's do it again," Shadow purred, laying over me.

"You're gonna be late for work," I poked his nose, "Besides, the kids will be up soon. And I need to find a wedding dress. And you can't look."

"Why not?" Shadow asked.

"Its bad luck fro the groom to see the dress before the wedding. So promise you won't peek," I said.

"Okay, I promise," he kissed my ring.

"Now go get dressed," I told him as I went to the bathroom.

"You've changed. You used to be this sweet little boy I'd have to protect," Shadow hugged me, "Becoming a mom, you're assertive and I don't think I've since you let anyone walk over you since."

"I had to become stronger, for the kids. If I was a weak mother, where would that have gotten us? Now look. You're home, the kids will be five soon and starting kindergarten. I'm just afraid well have to put name rages on them so the other kids can tell whose who," I kissed Shadow, "And well be married next month."

"I can't wait to call you my wife," Shadow kissed my ear.

"I can't wait to call you my husband," I kissed his cheek, "Now let me pee. And go to work."

"I'll be home soon," Shadow called.

"I know."

  I brushed my teeth, fixed my quills and opened the little box with my birth control pills. None left.

"Guess I need a refill. I pick them up do day," I tossed out the box, condoms do come in handy.

  Over the next month we were all busy. Too busy to have time to ourselves after watching the kids and work. We had the bride's maid dress, the bride's maids, the best man, my wedding dress, the kids outfits, the rehearsal dinner, and lots if things to do.
                                                                        
                                                                        
--- Night Before the Wedding ---

"We're gonna be married tomorrow," I said as we laid in bed.

"We are. Nervous?" Shadow asked.

"A little. Kinda feel like puking," I said.

"Don't worry, after this, we're together for the rest of our lives," Shadow purred.

"No seriously, I'm gonna puke," I felt sick to my stomach.

"Sonic?"

"Sorry," I ran to the bathroom and threw up.

"I knew that homemade pizza Knuckles brought was under cooked. Are you too sick for tomorrow?" Shadow asked from behind the door.

"No, no, I'm okay. I was just a little nauseous. Let's go to bed, okay?" I brushed my teeth a second time and washed my face. I cleaned up, flushed the toilet and we went to bed.

"I love you," Shadow whispered, hugging me.

"I love you too," I curled up in his arms, I felt safest with him holding me. I'd get to feel it for the rest of my life after this.

  The book is almost over guys. I'm gonna binge it till the end today. I'm gonna miss this story so much, I love it so.
