PoV: 3rd Person

  Shadow woke up as he did every morning. Rouge did the same in her apartment away from his. They each got a job working under the enemy. They worked there and had no suspicions of them. The mission was going just fine.

   Their apartments had false photos of a fake family they had. The only pictures of Sonic were the ones on their phones that were left at G.U.N's vault of personal items. They had new phones to avoid being tracked. For G.U.N the mission was going perfectly. For R puge it was an annoyance that made her want to go home to Sonic. For Shadow it was torture. All he could think about was Sonic's smile and how he missed holding his small hands.

  Sonic lived alone. G.U.N gave him a variety of houses they were willing to pay for, so of Sonic were ever needed to coach any recruits he'd be available. Out of many mansions and fancy homes. Sonic chose a small place with an old bakery below it. It was a two bedroom house with two bathrooms and a bath in the master bedroom. Sonic planned to use to second bedroom for guests until he learn something that changed his plans completely. The bakery below his house was fixed. He wrote out his recipes in a note book baked. It was his own bakery, and it made him just enough to live with a little extra than comfortable.

  Sonic had no restrictions. The only connection he had left with G.U.N were the large checks sent to him in the mail a consolation for what had happened. As a ex-hero, Sonic was counted as a veteran and revived check from the government as well. He had no financial struggle, but still he longed for Shadow. It had only been three months, but it felt like eternity without each other.

PoV: Shadow

"Hey! Rookie!" I was yelled at, "Hurry up with those crates. We can't have the cops finding us."

  I moved packs of drugs from one place to the next. Rouge was already supervisor, but that was because she use body language on men that I would rather die than doing.

"Hey," I felt that same hand on my arm that I had been feeling for the past two months. A sheep named Bri who wouldn't leave me be, "So, you still refusing to cheat on that fiance of yours?"

"Yes," I answered her, "I won't cheat on her. Not for the world."

"How can someone be that special? How do you know she's not cheating on you?" Bri asked.

"I know she isn't, she's never lied," I rendered to Sonic as a girl and never said his name so no one would 've able to find him. The last thing I wanted was for him to get hurt.

"What if we just do it in a motel. She'll never know," Bri got to close for comfort, "Or you could have her join us. I wouldn't mind a little threesome, she sounds really cute."

"Not a chance," I growled, "Now let me work. I don't have time for you."

   She left and I kept working. I just had to remember that I was doing this for Sonic. Once this was done, I'd go back to him. Once G.U.N paid me, I'd quit and find a better job where I could go home to Sonic every night. I was going through with this for him.

  I had to do it for him.
