HARRY'S POV
I saw Charley shiver at my words, which made me immediately tense up.
I knew I shouldn't be telling her this, since it was very much against The Book, but I also felt like she needed to know this.
"Did. . . you hear me?" I gently asked her after she hadn't answered me for a good ten minutes.
She slowly nodded. "Yeah. I did."
A pause.
I was a bit annoyed that I couldn't read her thoughts like I could read everyone else's. I wanted so badly to know what she was thinking about right now; but I guess it would always remain a mystery.
"What do you mean he became evil by meeting humans, Harry?" She suddenly blurted out, making the silence in the room fade away.
I sighed. "Well. . . he met a woman. Loved her. Cared for her. Kind of like me, for you." I smiled at her, and her cheeks turned red. "But. . . things went wrong. So he became evil."
Charley smirked. "I'm gonna need a lot more detail than that before I go to sleep tonight."
I laughed. "So details you will get, my love."
And even though it was a small moment of happiness for us, I was still worried because I was very much breaking the rules in The Book by this point.

(FLASHBACK)
LUCAS'S POV
One more day.
I only had one more damn day until I could quit working at this hell hole of a job.
Yeah I was the CEO of my own company, Luke's DVD Rental's, but still; everyday I was working here, I ran the risk of running into humans and having to interact with them.
Sure I had ghosts like me working all around me, but none of us really ever knew if a human would just suddenly stomp up to our building one day complaining about how a DVD stopped working or whatever.
I shook my head of my thoughts and looked down at my watch.
6:10.
It was already ten minutes past closing time and I was still here, sitting at my damn desk. Why was that? How could I have not seen the time earlier?
I got up from my seat and turned around, my back facing the front door to my private office. I headed over to my small black bag sitting on the back section of my desk and began to pack up for the day so I could head home and rest.
That's when I heard the running right outside my office.
My office door suddenly swung open and I whipped around to see who was still in the building, choosing to disturb me.
It was my favorite worker; Dean West. He was standing in my doorway, panting, one hand still on the open door and the other shaking by his side. If ghosts could sweat, I could tell he'd be a pool of it by now. But why?
