As I see her walk down the aisle, I couldn't help but have tears fall from my eyes.

There she was, the most beautiful girl I've ever gazed on.

I knew it

I knew it.

I knew I made the right choice that cold winter night eight years ago.

Her eyes, even though a few meters away, were fixated on me.

I could feel another tear falling down from the corner of my eye. I try to hold it in, slowly wiping it with my thumb finger, hoping no one noticed.

The usher signals her to keep moving forward; a bouquet of lilies and roses was wrapped in her hands. She looked poised, gleaming as if with a spotlight on her, she looked like an angel.

I look straight in her eyes and as she walks straight to my direction, I swear I could hear my heart beat so fast.

Everyone stood in awe of her not only because of the beautiful white gown she's wearing but because finally, finally this day is happening.

My best friend Xixi gives me a nodge. "Here she is, bro", he grins. I breathe deep as I let out a big sigh. By now my eyes probably look like red shots.

In the midst of all the crowd and pretty flowers thrown in the air, I search for her gaze. The only gaze I want to be lost in. There she is. Her gaze meeting mine.

In the midst of all the chaos, I could only see her.

I give her a big smile as she slowly reaches me. Her eyes, dripping in tears, now looks like she had sore eyes. I couldn't help but giggle at the sight of it before she glares at me. Now now....

I stretch out my hand to reach out for hers as she got closer. She lets loose of her right hand to reach mine. I hope she didn't notice how much my fingers were trembling.

"Hi", I say to her as she steps next to me in front of the altar. "Hi, Didi." she smiles.

We turn to the minister in front of us who was waiting to officiate our union. She grabs my arms as we both stand in front of the minister.

The crowd sits as he motions them to. Everyone turns quiet when he says, "Are you both sure of your decision?", he asks. Both she and I echo, "yes". It took a great deal for us to get here, I thought.

The minister begins to officiate the wedding. He mentions a lot of things about how sacred marriage was and how we were supposed to uphold it. He finishes his lines and turns to me and says, "Wang He Di, you can now take this time to declare your love for your bride."
