"We never left the house today," Luke mumbled, looking over at me on the other side of the couch, "weren't we supposed to go do something?"

I shrugged, completely loosing track of time since I had come back to Luke's house that day. All we did was sit around on the couch while watching movies and talking, which made us barely pay attention to what was on the screen.

After I checked my phone I realized that we had been sitting there for hours, simply enjoying each others company whilst talking over the movies.

It was great, actually. I'd known him for barely a month but it almost felt like years since I was already so comfortable around him right then.

We were both laying on the couch, but on opposite sides. At one point, both of our legs had gotten uncomfortable in the position they were in so we just decided to tangle our legs, which helped a lot.

"Do you want me to take you home? It's almost midnight." Luke said quickly once he realized the time, shifting his legs (which also made mine move). I shrugged, sitting up and letting a quiet breath leave my lips, "No, I can walk."

Luke nodded, running his fingers through his hair before carefully untangling him from myself and standing up from the couch. I did the same, pulling my sweater on since I had taken it off during one of the movies.

I could see him looking at me through the corner of my eye, so I turned to face him with my eyebrows raised. "Something wrong, music note?" I asked, laughing quietly at the nickname.

He blushed and shook his head, scratching the back of his neck, "No, but, uh, you don't have to go, if you don't want to. You can stay the night again."

I grinned at the offer, taking it into consideration before nodding my head at the opportunity to spend more time with him.

"Are you tired? I can lend you something to sleep in."

"Yeah. I'm kind of tired." I murmured, folding my arms over my chest. Luke nodded and looked at me for a few moments before rushing upstairs quickly as if realizing he was staring a second too long.

As I waited, I just looked around the room, having not looked around it before. For a house like this, occupied by only an eighteen year old (or that's what I assumed, he didn't seem to have anyone else over), it was surprisingly clean.

When he came back, he had a pair of grey sweatpants in one hand and a black tshirt in the other.

"I'm sorry if these are too big," He mumbled, blushing lightly as he handed them over to me, "If they are, I can see if I have anything else."

I only shrugged my shoulders, grinning at how cute he was when he got nervous like this, which to my knowledge, was a lot.

Luke moved away so he wasn't blocking the stairs, allowing access for me to go to change. I quickly walked up the stairs and changed from my clothes into Luke's.

The sweatpants were really baggy and hung low, but the string that looped around them made it easy to adjust that. There wasn't any problems with the shirt, it was big but it smelled like Luke's cologne.

I folded my clothes up and walked out of the bathroom, slowly walking down the stairs where I saw Luke laying on the couch, phone in hand.

"Hey," I grinned, picking my bag up from the floor and putting my clothes inside. Luke was smiling at me, looking more at my attire than myself.

"You look cute," He chuckled but began blushing darkly as if he thought he said something wrong.

I glanced down to hide the fact that I was blushing, too.

It was silent for about a minute before Luke cleared his throat, "Do you want to sleep?" He asked softly, making me finally look up at him.

"Yeah," I said under my breath, smiling weakly at him. I followed after him when he began walking up the stairs. When we got to the door frame, he turned around quickly.

"Thank you for staying today, and staying the night again. I usually don't have anyone over," Luke breathed, looking at me and then looking away again, "I'm always home alone, so. It's nice to have someone over."

The way he was fiddling with his lip ring didn't help with the fact that I almost wanted to kiss him. I know that I didn't have strong feelings for Luke, but it may have been a crush. The odds of Luke liking somebody like me wasn't realistic, and I needed to stop having unrealistic expectations out of boys like Luke, ones with girls falling at his feet.

All I did was nod and smile at him though, to which he just grinned and turned away to continue walking to his bed. He laid down again. against the wall like he had last night.

I laid beside him and pulled the blanket over myself, biting my lip once Luke pulled the blanket over himself, too.

The lighting was dim, and me and Luke were staring each other, smiling.

Luke giggled (yes, giggled) and brought his hand up, pressing his fingertip against my nose lightly.

"Boop."

I grinned, blushing at him before shifting and lifting my hand to 'boop' his nose as he did mine.

Just after I did, he smiled widely, almost like a grin but it seemed more genuine.

"Go to sleep, Jem." He murmurs, and I could tell then that he could probably see how tired I actually was. I only nodded before closing my eyes and shifting closer to him before falling asleep with my head brushing against his collarbones.
