Okay, wow. This story is half way done. I think. SO MUCH MORE LEFT! STICK WITH ME THOUGH!
Once Loki, Thor, and Astryd were all saddled up they headed out for a ride. Of course Loki was a little bit uneasy but he knew he couldn't just hide away for the rest of his life. And maybe a little fresh air was good. Something within Loki's heart changes when he is near nature. Something about the fresh air, the beautiful trees that brustle in the wind, the grass that feels prickly against your bare feet. Which, yes he is wearing shoes today as he rides his Stallion, Spartan.
Spartan is a black horse with dark brown eyes and energetic personality.
He looked to his left to see Astryd riding Collie, a blonde horse with white hair, looking... happier. He hasn't seen such happiness in her eyes since... Their child...
He shook his head, letting the memory go.
He then looked to his right, Thor riding Storm, a white horse, with surprisingly, black hair. He looked... different. He doesn't look like... Thor. He is Thor, but... He looked cautious. "Is something wrong, brother?" Loki asked.
Thor blinked and looked towards his younger brother, forcing a smile. "No. Let's just ride."
Loki nodded, glancing at Astryd, who looked worried now, noticing Thor's stance. She guided her horse to stop in front of Thor's.
"What the hell?" He boomed.
"How do you expect us to 'ride' if you look as though something is wrong?"
"She's right, brother. Even I feel calm." Loki said.
"Something just feels... wrong." Thor replied. "I think we should turn around."
"What are you talking about, Thor?" Astryd asked, irritable.
Silence.
"Brother?"
"Shh!" Thor shushed, looking around cautiously. "Hear that?"
No! Loki thought.
"No, we don't hear anything, Thor." Astryd whispered.
"Exactly."
"Oh, not that again, brother. Why do people always say that? It's not too quiet. Can it even be too quiet?"
As if on cue, a swarm if Chituari came out of hiding, scaring the horses. The horses 'neighed' and stood on their two back legs, throwing off Thor, Loki, and Astryd.
Astryd gave a cry, hearing a crack in her hand. She cradled it to her chest as two Chituari pulled her to her feet and held her in place.
Four Chituari held Loki in place, knowing he was stronger since their last acquaintance. And three held Thor.
The Chituari began to bound their hands behind their backs and pushed them to their knees. Or in Loki's case, up to his knees.
More Chituari surrounded them and Loki thought his heart would beat out if his chest.
"Okay, thank you." Said a dark, looming voice that they all recognized and froze.
A few Chituari moved out of the way to reveal Thanos, the mad Titan.
Loki had had enough!
"Why the hell do you keep coming back Thanos!? There is nothing left to take from me! Why are you here?" Loki yelled.
"Maybe I'm not here entirely for you." Thanos cooed, walking towards Astryd.
"Stay away from her." Loki growled.
