Here's the next chapter guys. Meeting the mistery guy is very strange for Laurel but we will know more of him soon enough. Let me know what you think and dont forget to like for it will also help. Thats about it, adios :)
The next morning rolled in as the sky turned a pale blue color. The people would wake by now as would Connor. The assassin spotted his master feeding the horses in the stables as he rode his horse gently up the gate. He had figured his master would be wondering of his travel to Boston. After sending his messages as a task made by Connor he wanted information of his journey alone.
Connor saw his pupil riding into the stables but his gaze shifted when he noticed someone else with him. Connor recognized her as a native, not as someone he knew. Perhaps she came from another tribe or another land unlike his own. The fabric looked like deer hide or so he thought. He made a grim look when he couldn't analyze her right.
"why have you brought a woman to our home?" Connor asked, "Is she alright?"
The girl was in deep sleep, unaware of where she would be. Connor helped carry the girl who seemed like a lady beginning to grow as a woman into his arms. He waited for his student to fix the horse to rest in the stables. As he did so, Connor noticed the amulet shimmering red. The Templar cross symbolizing her packed with the enemy.
"Shes a Templar, what's your reason to bring the enemy here?" Connor asked harshly.
The student suspected his master would be cold about the idea. This was his chance to reason with him. As he walked back to his master, he chooses his words carefully. The assassin took off his white hood showing light brown waves falling down into his line of vision. His pasty hazel eyes grazing the native in his masters arms for a brief moment.
"Peter!" Connor barked as his student winced, looking back up at Connor.
"I...uh, she is but a girl in training. she seemed a bit suspicious, her words were unusual. It wasn't difficult to capture her. I think she would be a valuable asset to interrogate." Peter explained.
Connor eyed his student attentively, searching for any other answers. He had seen Peters look at the native with something gleaming in his eyes. He didn't make any connection of it as he placed the girl into Peters arms. He looked closer at the girl; she does look a bit scrawny to be a skilled fighter. He nodded agreeing to use her to gain answers.
"Was she with others?" Connor asked.
" No sir, she was on her own after she left," Peter said hesitantly, " technically speaking, she left her companions in haste."
"Then they will be searching for her. We have to be in our guard if we want anything out of her like you have said." Connor argued, " take her in for now, we will find out what we must do."
Peter nodded his head as he walked into the mansion. Connor trailed after him, cautiously looking into the forest for anything out of the ordinary. Peter didn't have trouble opening the door to the place as he went into the basement.
He went down to the basement were all the equipment was at. After being careful on the stairs he went straight to the cells at the corner. If she thought of escaping, there wouldn't be any loop holes to get out of. It was the only place to keep captive a Templar. He bent on one knee, lowering her body gently on the stone floor. He heard her sigh softly as she moved her head to one side. He nocked her out enough to buy enough time to ask the right questions. After inspecting her closely the night before his curiosity of a Templar he hasn't seen before sparked his interest.
He closed the door to the cell, locking it before going back up to the main room.
Connor waited for him in the office along with Achilles. The elderly man has woken up probably with the news of the girl from Connor.
